Thought it would be fun to uncover some of Bucket\'s samples.
Here\'s a few of the top of my headcheese.
"Help Me"-Hellraiser 2

"Well Well Well"-Clockwork Orange

"Let\'s get out of here! What?"from Scapula-Texas Chainsaw

"The scream that turns into a whimper" from Shape vs Buckethead-Maniac

"I\'m only going to say this once. We are not sick men"from Praxis-Bruce Lee in I think Game or Death

There\'s more i cant think of right now.

i believe the TCM quote from #3 above says "It\'s a generator.  What?" - and can be heard on both versions of Scapula
(guilty of being obsessed with that movie)

also from Well Well Well - "I see you, you got sumpn\' to eat?" - The Hills Have Eyes

love the "Chinese spare ribs" dialogue "Telegraph Land of the Crispies" - Return of the Dragon
from one of my favorite cd\'s Bermuda Triangle

Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

Great thread.

Does anybody know this one?

"He can\'t escape. He\'s somewhere around this area, I know it."

From Cobra Strike II, "Blood Scroll" (which is a crazy, sick track, BTW)

I\'m assuming it\'s from a kung-fu movie or something.

There\'s a lot of great sound bites in that album, actually.

"insert coins to continue"
"hyper drive destroyed, under repair"

There are a lot of classic greats in KFC Skin Piles, as well.

"We are not sick men" is from Enter The Dragon (English dub) and that "in a spiral" thing from Cobra Strike is from El Topo (again English dub). I\'ve seen these films in the original languages but I recognised in the subtitles. :)

And there\'s a shitload from Johnny Sokko of course.

DawnoftheBucket

there\'s a LOT of Texas Chainsaw Massacre clips in Buckethead\'s songs. bingeandgrab.com has a list of movies Bucket has taken smaples from.

CrystalThrone

"Hey. That\'s the old slaughterhouse!" and the pigs squealing/screen door shutting on Hog Bitch Stomp is from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I\'m positive.

Lefty

"I ain\'t got no boy..." from Ballad of Buckethead-Slingblade
"Snozberries taste like Snozberries" from Bucketheadland-Wonka
"Sally!" from Giant Robot NTT is from TCM
Just about everything from Giant Robot NTT is from TCM

I wonder why Buck never used "Music is my life"from TCM2

I think the best use of a sample from any band is "Dog will hunt"-TCM2 from Primus\' Jerry was a race car driver, because if you never seen the movie you assume it\'s Les saying it and the chainsaw in the background sounds like a race car engine

Anywho i hope this thread will uncover more of those Cobra Strike and Bermuda Triangle samples.  Thanks to all those buddies that helped so fart.
Can\'t wait till my copy of El Topo gets here

Man, I just wiki\'d that movie "El Topo", it sounds pretty insane. Might have to check that out.

so the line, "he\'s around here somewhere, I know it." is from the english overdubbed version of this movie?
