I very astutely noticed that the days were growing longer again after December 22 and so in wild jubiliation, I rushed into the woods and felled a small pine tree and dragged it home.  I\'ve forgotten why.

We sacrificed a large but rather stupid feathered bird and some innocent chocolate products and washed it all down with liberal amounts of the grape. I forget what it was all about, but remember some singing...
