So I got my album on Saturday and was really excited to get into the new album after the three great tracks you already put on your site.

I have to say it's amazing. Every song sounds unique. I really like the chorus parts and backround voices. Every part of each song just fits.
After every runthrough I find something new i didn't recognize before.

I really like Iconography and I thought this would be something like it. It isn't at all but great on its own.

Thank you Soebe, I really appreciate your feedback and kind words.  Glad to hear you think it stands well against Iconography and the other stuff I've done, I know it's different.  Thanks again.

Happy Easter, Travis.  I've got "The Owl" on again.  What a great album.  I never go two days without a listen.  The momentum of your vocals and piano playing and the sincerity and display of well-aimed intent behind the music has given me a real lift since the album came out.  One I needed and truly appreciate.  My wife, Seagulltron, told me to wish you Happy Easter or her behalf, too.

Happy Easter to both of you. Thank you so much for the kind words regarding The Owl. After pooring myself into it for over a year, it's that kind of feedback that makes the hard work worthwhile. Thanks again.

Hey Travis.  I've listened to The Owl Dives Through The Crescent Moon a bunch of times.  I really like it.  One of my favorite parts of the album is the imagery some of the lyrics create.  Pretty cool indeed!

Thanks Ella_M.  Lyrics are one of the best reasons to sing, I appreciate it.

I do like this a lot.  My fave songs are (besides Came to Rest) Big Brass Bell and The Blue Ray.
This whole CD though has a nostalgic feel for me, as written before; the tone of it, and has inspired me a bit to pick up a long neglected writing project.
What's next, Travis?

Working on a couple of Owl related projects with my brother and trying to finish up two other collaboration records that are almost done. There are several other CD in various stages  completion.
