It just appears to be a continuation of Pike 33. Pumpkin + Pikes = Pumpkin Pikes. The song titles reflect this as well.

Well, actually, Giant Robot (NTT) is the self titled debut album by Giant Robot.

Giant Robot (Sony) was a solo record by Buckethead.

So, 1 album solo, 1 with the band.

Sorry to be such a stickler.
