Hey guys you can download three new pikes in the series!! They look awesome!!

Decoy

I think it's safe to say at this point that he's shooting for 13 Pikes.
Can't wait to check out this new stuff.

Wish I wasnt broke or I would download 7-10 :( . Payday will be a great day for musical genius tho :)

In Search Of The

Bought all three. It's interesting that for me, Pikes #10 was a pay what you want system.

The line "Please note these are available as downloads only" gave me a little shock. Fortunately it continues with "CD versions will be made available soon".

So waiting now ;)

I don't mind downloading, what is interesting to me is that he released all 3 on the same day

The same had happened with 3 Foot Clearance, Underground Chamber and Look Up There (although 3 Foot Clearance wasn't really new).

Though, with the whole Pikes series following that "Comic Book" style, I wonder why he doesn't release them in regular intervals, like one disc every month.

Well, maybe he just can't wait to put them out, once they have been recorded :)

I liked the little backstory surrounding the last batch of 3 released simultaneously, where it was a park error haha.

I think my favourite of the bunch is Racks. They're safe albums. He experiments again, but not so much that you pine for a previous style.

I'm digging on these 3 a lot!  But what I did was I combined the 3 into 2 discs... one with all the heaviness and on with all the chill.

Cant stop listening to the Heaviness!!!!!
Support underground music!!!

Hopefully there are no differences between the download and CD versions

I hope you're not saying you buy crack as soon as you see it.  :P

just wondering if there was a discussion about these wedges?

I just got them, I have near 100 listens on Shores of Molokai but still haven't fully digested that one, it's a great album. I opened Racks - man just blown away!!! GAWD I LOVE BUCKETHEAD! I wont even open #9 or #10 for a while, I'll be listening to Racks for a while. That last track, the Patrolman, puts a huge bulge in my pants everytime I listen. It's a vey moving track for me. Coffin for a Penny, Sunbursts are pretty awesome as well. I had alot of fun with Castle of Dr Cadaver & Spiderwall (that's just classic BH noodling), made some K-A ringtones. There is not one song I dislike on this cd, overall I think it is his best of the year (considering I haven't listened to 9 or 10 yet). On a scale of 10 - Racks gets 9 quacks.
