Will do darlin Duck! Thank you for taking a peek at the pix. Here is another... inland... my brother noted to me that he felt I was out in Sasquatch and Hobbit country.. Just some grassland..and cypress swamp....lots of weeds and knobs.

Cypress swamp is neater in the later spring and early summer...when the snakes, frogs, and wildflowers take hold. An interesting note tho...I either read or was told that Cypress swamp is the east coast "sister" to Muir Woods in Northern Cali...of course the trees in Muir woods are much larger.

I love how you captured the reflections on the water giving a mirror effect. I also dig those ones with the white tree fungus. That last pic of the blue sky with the trees is way cool!

Sunday morning 3.27.11) I peeped outside at early in the morning and to my surprise it had snowed...and was still misty coming down. As soon as it let up I made a trek to a lil place that used to be post WWII Military housing....the buildings are all gone...but if I understand correctly...the cherry trees that remain are the same breed (and some say from the same batch) that were given to the United State by Japan.

While I was taking these pictures I couldn\'t help but study in wonder...and say a loving prayer for the people in Japan...blossoms delicately beautiful  yet...strong through the heavy snowfall.
