Chris, this is awsome! Thanks for linking up. I am very excited about this and here is why. I have been a huge fan of native American flutes for.. well, ever to be honest. People think I am crazy because half my cd collection is Native flute, Douglas Spotted Eagle, R. Carlos Nakai, Robert Trecody etc the list is endless... two weekends ago our little museum here where I live had there annual Native American festival and as I do every year I attented. After all these years of looking at flutes at festivals, pow wows, concerts etc... and contemplateing a purchase, I finally picked up a starter flute. I picked it up with the intent to learn and then upgrade to a better one. Now I have a link thanks to you for when I can get to a point of upgrade. This is great. Thanks Chris I appriciate it and thank your step mom for a fantastic site!! I will have to send an email. ...

gkg -- Re: Paisley Griffin -- It may not do her brush strokes justice but Wow! I love Sunrise at Alone.  Just goes to show that great artists move in the same circles, in your case, the same family.  ;)

GKG,  If I have it right Spider Women is the next door nieghbor...

but My Dad is Daniel White Buffalo, and the other on is a women from Woodland who\'m I am vaguely, familier with...

Here I commonly refer My Dad as SilverMullet, but I stand corrected in the name calling.

sngwthme, I would guess the website has a feature to contact these 2 of My 4 Unit\'s, but mention Units, they will probably lose you but mention Me and they will respond...

To be quite honest I have yet to delv deeper into the website as of Yet, do to time and everything thats so important elsewhere and here, maybe I should take a trip on over there......

[glb]Chris: [/glb]well THAT\'s weird...  link is
http://www.nelsonfineartsgallery.com/nfag_013.htm

no "*" - replace it with an "a" - i think somehow Travis\' automated system for avoiding swear words and non-pc terms is editing out what appears to be the word "F-A-G" but is actually the initials of the gallery Nelson Fine Arts Gallery... silly automated system!

[glb]sngwtme[/glb] thanks!  yeah, my stepmother and i don\'t have the best relationship (gee, how common is that?) but i really respect her work and admire what she\'s been able to accomplish.

lovely story about your love of Native American music and the flute - i am positive you will do well with it, you have the give of patience for that sort of thing that i admire.
Peace.

in 180 minutes I can probably get 2 or 3 songs out of this tape that was used, I severlly messed up Mary Youngbloods song preview, people were talking somewhat through out recording, I guess I can\'t have control over everything.

I missed out on a bluegrass Jam afterwards, and Dude showed Chick how to play Digeridoo.

Oh well its under Underground recording, roll with it see what comes from it later.

one cannot control everything... even in a studio setting, let alone in a live outdoor performance.  sounds like a cool experience whatever the hassles.
Peace.
