3,212 Potential targets in California, the most populous state.

just blows your mind, doesn\'t it?  i haven\'t felt safe since Bush took office... and it just gets worse.

All those "potential targets"...sounds like reductio ad absurdam to me. Popcorn??!! sheesh.  

I don't have any other info. except what is above.  It was reported in Time Magazine.  If I had to venture a guess I would say that it all boiled down to political agenda - 'make my State look good so I can get more federal aid!'

My Husband suggested that perhaps the Amish where hiding a nuclear missile under their factory or perhaps a secret chemical weapons plant, the popcorn tins being the means of distribution!  Hmmm, I wonder...

Maybe it\'s just toxic popcorn?

I have to report this one even though it has nothing to do with pop corn...but I love the numbers game.

I will be here from time to time and I will probably make you mad (judging from what I\'ve read) most of the time. Polls mean absolutely nothing. If this one has any value maybe it indicates that people are starting to remember when sadam used them on occaision.

darlin\' we love differing points of view, but i have to remind you - the US sold Sadam many of those wheapons, and were tight buds with him, and aided in keeping him in power.  we remember a lot of things, and are wise enough to know that much of what the government tells us is the lie du jour based on their agenda at the moment.

Yes at one time during the cold war Iraq and Iran were fighting each other the U.S. supported Iraq and the Soviets supported Iran.  During wwII we were allied with the soviets against the nazis, and the Japanese good friends of ours now were on the receiving end of a couple of bombs that ended the war.  Things change. Are you conceding the point that sadam had weapons of mass destruction?

nope.  it was a manufactured motive for war - even shrub & co. has pretty much admitted they didn\'t have them.  they knew it was bs - they just needed to make up a viable excuse to do what Cheney has wanted to so since Bush I was in office.
