Been gone a while and just had the chance to browse a little and I am dying to know when this wonderful work by Burton Dickerson is going to be available??
The preview is fantastick!

I thought I understood just by listening and how the music that was created makes me feel and I still have that understanding, but now, now I understand.
Thank you.

It\'s not your ear thing Chris, I was wondering the same thing. Can you tell us Travis or will this go down as a Thanatopsis mystery?

Hi Billy,
You will have no resistance from any of us in encourageing you to experience Thanatopsis. Axiology in particular has become very personal to me. Might I recommend that you take it along while on a road trip!
I am excited that you are thinking about owning both 1 & 2, this is excessivly encouraged and believe me once you hear them you will be hanging on the rail with fingers turning blue along with the rest of us here waiting for #3.
Travis is a master at what he does, and has brought in two other masters to bring it all together. Keybords that are on fire and at the same time calm and enlighten you, Guitars that carry you along as if you were floating over the strings with the player and Drums that you feel within and motivate you to move. Inside the mix of it all, many othere sounds and instuments fill you up, Whether they are truley there or you just hear them, only Travis knows, but this will capture you.
This is a rare treat. Enjoy!

Okaaaay, now that I am awake from my nap!
How in the world did I miss this!?
Guys, this track is fantastic! Very refreshing and full of magic. Thank you so much for sharing your work in progress.
What a treat. I can\'t wait to hear what else you guys have in store.
And Travis,

QuoteAlso to be clear about how I feel about it, it\'s just a song. ;)
Just a song? Bite your tongue sir. None of your music is just a song.

My favs... Buckehead. The lyrics are really great! What a way to tell the story. My favorite line goes something like, his posture is fighting with his height, or no it is, in rebellion with his height. Ha ha ha that is interesting to me. Sorry I am weird.
Have to agree on Tyranny of the hunt. That really helped get my heart rate up on the treadmill at the gym. Elephant Ghost no question a fav. I think it\'s Junior that is another one, the guitar starts really fast, I like that. I have enjoyed all of it. Although I do have to say it all sounds much better live.

Not sure about Mason Williams, will have to check that out, but George Winston, I have been following him for years. When he did the soundtrack for The Velveteen Rabbit, the one with Meryl Streep as the narrator, 20 years ago I was hooked! It is my absolute favorite story. He is a wonderful solo pianist. He plays Guitar too but the piano is his thing. Very mellow, meditative piano playing. A couple years ago he did a tribute to the doors. I was all over that. Still listen to that probably once a week. Here check out his site,

http://www.georgewinston.com/index.html

and next time you go to the record Shoppe go to the the new age section or world music, however they have it categorized, and take a listen if they have a station. There are listening capability on his site but Unfortunately you can\'t order from him directly, you have to use Amazon or something, but his stuff is in almost every record store I have been too. His new one that I just picked up is "Montana - a Love story" the title alone was enough for me. I love Montana! If they have The Doors tribute which is called Night divides the day, Get it! The artwork on the cover by itself will draw you in. Wish I had a print of that. I will also recommend Forest. He has a full classical Orchestra, Phenomenal! Anyway, take a look.

Giddy with excitement over your report, and that I can now get off the pins!  :o
Glad to hear you had a such a great time. Oh the memories... it all comes flowing back again. I can\'t believe I forgot to mention Gabby La La she was a hoot! I loved the Backpac song. Oh and the boogy man song too that she did with the guys. hee hee loved the Sitar even though at first they had trouble with the volume. Buckehead did the whole Star Wars medly here too, the crowd went crazy. Did the chicken make an appearence?  Thanks for the glowing report oh and telling about what songs were played. Mystery solved!

Awesome Spencer! And you were worried about it....
It turned out great. You got to see him up close and personal and he signed your stuff and he is hanging around with the robot you gave him! That is pretty cool. I would feel pretty special right about now.  ;D
Sorry they kicked you out though, it was just a sound check, but yes that is their job and Chris is right they have to keep the place open or they wouldn\'t have a place for the bands to play. None the less though there is a way to do things and there isnt. Pooey on them for being mean. Never say never, there can always be a next time.
Oh and Chris, I think he was playing the White Les Paul. If you have a copy of PFA there is a picture of Bucket holding a white guitar and I am almost 99 % sure that was the guitar he had when they played here.
Hope that helps. But shoot you\'ll tell us tomorrow anyway. Waiting on pins and needles for your report, hope it comes quick cause the pins are leaving a mark and the needles Yeeeow!   :o

Ok embarrased here but I have to truthfully answer that question as I have no idea.   :-[
And as newly declared Buckethead and C2B3 admirer, I am ashamed, but my excuse is I have not yet purchased the album to know the names of the songs. Bad me bad me.
Almost all of the songs were instramental so I would have to guess and say yes, they probably did play those that you mentioned and many many more.
Les sang only on a few and the were all just  awesome and I was completely blown away!
.
So perhaps we can impose upon you and gkg to tell us the names of the songs that they play when you see them?
