Dylan is a master poet. But I never much cared for the voice. I think it has to do with long car trips to my grandmothers, when I was young, with my folks blasting Dylan in the car.... that voice makes an impression on a youngster.

Enjoy the concert! And do post us a report, and a play list too!

I can tell ya who\'s going with the silver Mullet ( my dad ) is going to be turning 56? that day so naturaly he\'ll be going also two of my friend whom I am going to drag to the C2B3 concert at the crest in November in sac so that makes four, by the time this thing rolls around everyone will be skratchin at Travis\'s door saying " whens the next Viggo CD coming out Hmmmm" so in short this link will get buried, but have no fear the Ressurection will be promped Tix are 35.50 ech at Freeborn hall, Sadly this won\'t be at the Mondavi Center were I saw Absolute Zappa perform.

hey - any venue\'s better than no venue, man.  enjoy and be nice to your dad, some day (if you\'re lucky) you\'ll be 56 too and then you\'ll know it ain\'t old at all.  in fact, most men & women that age are sexy stuff...   it\'s a mellowing depth and humor thing, Chris.  :-*

:o thee old man Silver Mullet lives near a lake with dogs and cat, has a wife who thinks she\'s fat, lovely that like an old hat, enya an paul mixed in with fleetwood mac blast from the stereo snaked out back, old silver mullet gets up at Five to drive the worker bees to the hive, he sits but does not stutter he draws for Caltran\'s while eating peanut butter this one works to fifteen of four then it is out the door making like a mad man for that lake, dogs and cat... only to find out there a traffic jam, so he pumps up the Radio and lets it sqeal in mild moderation to the voices on the heel. :o

:P ::) :o ;D ;) well when I wrote this I was just coming down from the smoke inhalation? and suger Rush the ARC was big and echoy smaller then Echo Arena in Sacramento, some in my party asked me if Bob was Drinkin and I said naw he on the davis water thats heavy enough ( Davis water crusts on the insides, killing pets but few are addicted to it, and I am one of the few) I had a great time had a tiny sniff of happy smoke and Apple Pie with ice cream, Davis Water and Bob Dylan, I got to hear Like a Rolling Stone, All Along the Watchtower, Highway 61 set lists are forthcoming bobdylan.com hasn\'t got them up yet but some of the acoustic Instruments Bob\'s multi talented GITAR Picka played were fan-tastic when I learn what this stuff is I\'ll most deffinately get the album, the whole thing lasted 1 hour 45 mins and all I say there was one person collapsed downstairs ( too much Happy smoke?) some dancing hippy\'s the youngest member of the audience was a toddler run the line of tape, there was alot of Silver Mullet clones walking around and the parking lot was full it took 50 mins to leave...to get pie and to go home to colapes into a peicefull sleepy slumber.

Quoteits all right ma (i\'m only bleeding)

i\'da paid admission just to hear that one live... i absolute favorite, i think... there are others i love nearly as well.  more?  ah, shit, how does one pick a favorite?

i say hell yes, give the man a Nobel for his writing.  not every song ever written is poetry, as Steve Allen i think once proved beautifully, but Dylan\'s songs can stand alone in silence and rip your heart out or make it soar.

hey now, there\'s smoke and there\'s smoke... one man\'s drink/meat/treasure however you know the proverb...

all in all it sounds like a winner to me!

sigh...  good for you Chris!!

if i recall correctly, Oldfolkie went to see Arlo not too long ago - you should check Arlo\'s site, he was touring some this summer.  Santana you\'re bound to catch around CA at some point.  the Neil Young thing, well, that\'s up to you - i\'d go for it.

Hey GKG

all the songs were sung at alternate speeds combind this with the Echo and you get a roar, but the gitar pika was fan tas tic, he played everything I\'ve always tinkered with (i.e.) lap steel mandolin a tele some acoustic .

They were burned some incents as well as the pot, I could smell the incents but the pot doesn\'t register nore does roses...but thats anouther post somewhere over the waves of the enternet far off from this post.

Yes those horns you hide so well under that old brown hat are quite interesting, but what really sets you apart is pulling it off by not carring around the pitchfork!
Where did you get that hat anyway?

I must have seen it then in the dark then because I could have sworn it was brown, (http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/headscratch.gif)but it\'s your discuise and if it\'s red it\'s red. You should really consider another pair of gloves though, it appears they have holes in them cause I know I did see your fingertips. Nice black polish I might add. Could I get an appointment with your manicurist?
The no shoes... don\'t change that ...I wear no shoes or at least when I have to the littlest of flip flops, just to avoid the glass that seems to break as I walk by certain spots. beside they wouldn\'t let me in here if I didn\'t have some kind of shoe.

i hate wearing shoes, and yet i own masses of them...  necessary evil of the worker bee.  BAH!

then again, my new little boots are pretty cute.  nice heel.  still rather be bare foot!

:DHorses try to eat my feet when ever I ride a horse (so I) haven\'t ridden in a longtime, dealing with flip flops once working in the dead of night during the summer I was flipping and flopping at work and dropped a good load of stuff on my exposivo feetovo ( lil\' spanish... Cranked) and I will never wear flip flops to work agien, I still remember the evil colors my feet changed..

i have 3 pairs of flip/flops - one beaded, one black and one utilitarian...  still prefer bare feet, but they are nice.

must stick in kudos to my own new boots though - i wore them for 32 hours straight and still love them!

Shoes, no shoes, flip flops, boots (without carrots please!) all have their place for me. Sometimes even just a pair of socks will do. They all have their time and place but I agree that bare feet feels the best, especially on thick carpet, or new sheets on the bed, or warm sand, or cool, wet sand on a hot day or............................well, you can fill in your own bare feet fantasy or start your own shoe fantasy/fetish.

I applaud any footwear that you can wear for 32 hours straight and still be happy with. Sound like Wonder Woman Boots to me! Boot scootin Boogie on and on..... GKG!

Chris, sounds like you might need steel toed boots to protect your tootsies! Colors should be on shoes, not toes, but maybe painted on toenails is ok?
I also agree that you need to keep carrots out of the boots, I feed them by hand but make sure you don\'t let the horse mistake fingers for veggies!
Glad you had a mostly super time at concert and thanks for sharing it with us.

we\'re a pretty open bunch - opinionated maybe (at least i seem to be... :-X) but loving and open...  share what you feel comfortable with, and work through the rest with those you trust most deeply.

whatever the case - take comfort in small things, and in love, given and received...

thats what gets me with the internet ya say something like when I was starting out looking up diffrent things, would\'ve never thought possible things like I.D. theft or hackers I gotta be carfull about giving out Names, like what next " hey Chris how bout a Number or were I live, well to late for two of thoses things, but powerful internet wizards can find me anywhere I\'\'ll be... I draw the line becuase I\'m paranoid of such people, but then if someones inverted and this beutifull flower in that invertion and the chat room is they\'er only true contact without have contact with the world so be it,,Not to be cruel or anything but I find more and more things disturb me now then they used to be plain hum drum actions but now its watch yer back the g men emn in the white vans are out there monitoring your phones going thru yer trash and even questioning yer friends...Maybe your so blind to it it becomes the wash, going back to Sickness and Death EVERYBODY who I have talked with takes the bleakest look at things, thats whats wrong with the people, plus we have so many anti deppressates from A to Z just enough brain power an you can be rid of this or that, thats trouble you change your habits look for the butterflys ( Butter Flys were ) but the Internet is a power no denying that without internet the world would be a cold place... Steps down from soap box brain falls asleep as hits the log out button.

hey man, there\'s no denying that people are spying as fast as they\'re dying and the internet is flying time at an amazing pace we\'re in an amazing place in time and the drugs i took to make me happy almost put the lovely razor in my hand the companies who make them buy ads to make us take them without regard to the crash just to make some cash and the people looking in your trash are just out to find the hash where were they when we needed them selling their souls to the hackers who stole our government as the nation starts to foment and who knows who will steal the moment but in the end its down to you and me and the rest of the people free to stand up and turn off the glaring light sending the gestapo home for dinner cause i think we have a winner the concept is good we just need to force the practice of rights honored and justice true justice meted out to those who rape the constitution to gain their retribution and deny the evolution as it leads to devolution.
