I can\'t see the pix.

afew years ago I made a short film and used some music in it by Buckethead.
You can view the short here on MySpace:
http://www.myspace.com/pearsonshaun
It is called \'Ding Dong\' and runs for about 6 minutes.

You\'ll have to turn the volume up, as it plays too quite on MySpace?
the MySpace quality sux alittle too. The original fiml is DVD resolution.

After Ding Dong there was a music video. Although that cannot be viewed until it has been finished. It was finished over a year ago now, although it has been decided that more footage is required.

As you might or might not know, Buckethead worked with Axl for a biref time some years ago.

\'Rock Band 2\' (the video game) is due out in September, as will feature a track titled \'Shackler\'s Revenge\'. The track can be heard on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sohUdJTck-U

Since Buckethead\'s departure from GNR, someone named Bumblefoot has taken his role, and just like (well, similar) Buckethead, can shred.

Assuming this is \'Shackler\'s Revenge\', is Buckethead on the track, Bumblefoot, or both?

If Buckethead had held out a little longer and stayed with Guns n\'Roses, there may well have been an official Buckethead toy. There\'s an official Slash (guitarist) toy, which looks pretty good. There\'s never been an Axl toy, as I guess Axl\'s doesn\'t wish to ever be sold in plastic form.

I have no idea of the size of Buckethead\'s user base, but I do know that you have to sell enough to make the \'tooling\' worth while. I was speaking to \'someone\' over at Plastic Fantasy once, as they were lazer scanning in various adult models/stars to be turned into figures. To my knowledge, the company quit afer a limited run. So the only plastic fantasy models remaining could be worht something. This company only appears to have 3 models left http://darkfigures.com/plfaadsu.html

Maybe one day there will be an offcial Buckethead toy.

On a side note. They made some figures for Kill Bill, but they never bothered to release a figure based on the Kill Bill nurse as played by Daryl Hannah, and the Ulma Thurman doll kinda sucked too.

Quote..my copy of 'In Search Of' arrived today. So I'm happy :D
..and no, there\'s was no way out of paying the tax - boo!

Disc 1 is good and the sound quality is good. For some bizarre reason I had preconceived ideas that the audio might sub par. But it's not. Just started playing disc 2, and the 1st track reminds of a certain Bob Dylan song with what sounds like a tambourine playing. Looking forward to hearing the rest.. So I'll catch you later..

#267

I\'m still enjoying In Search Of The.
Just thought i\'d share.

I\'m also digging Peppers Ghost more and more  ;D

No problem.

Track 01 from Vol.2 'N' (of ISOT) reminds me of Bob Dylans\'s \'Rainy Day Woman\' from the album \'Blonde on Blonde\'. It\'s the same beat complete with the tambourine. The same beat re-appears on Track 01 Vol.13 'E' (of ISOT) and plays throughout the entire track for a whopping 45 minutes.

My 'In Search Of The - The Best Of' would contain the following tracks:

Vol 1 'I' - Track 02 - 14:50 (note: Laidback, quite groovy. Good track)
Vol 2 'N' - Track 05 - 15:50 (note: Laidback. Much guitar. Liked this track very much)
Vol 3 'S' - Track 04 - 07:37 (note: Deep base  sounds with a guitar in the distance. Good track)
Vol 4 'E' - Track 06 - 03:29 (note: Guitars and drums, good stuff)
Vol 5 'A' - Track 01 - 10:35 (note: Smooth and laid back, guitars and drums. Very cool)
Vol 5 'A' - Track 05 - 05:04 (note: Ideal for a film. Synth. I liked this track)
Vol 5 'A' - Track 08 - 02:56 (note: Opens with drums followed by a cool guitar sound. Slow. I love this track)
Vol 6 'R' - Track 03 - 04:34 (note: Medium beat drumming with muted guitar work over the top. I liked this track)
Vol 9 'O' - Track 05 - 06:36 (note: Experimental near the start, that turns into a cool calm guitar near the end)
Vol 11 'T' - Track 06 - 03:14 (note: Slighty funky guitar back by a medium beat. I liked this track)
Vol 12 'H' - Track 07 - 01:20 (note: Opens with a mellow guitar. Good while it lasts.)
Vol 12 'H' - Track 08 - 15:19 (note: Opens with a twang guitar and a steady drum beat. Hints of Jazz. The best track on Vol.12)

Buckethead 'In Search Of The' Vol.13 'E'

Track 01 - 00:45 (note: The longest track on ISOT coming in at 45 minutes. Opens with a thudy beat.
35 seconds in and the same sound from Vol.2 Track 01 - 01 plays (bouncy Bob Dylan tambourine).
There's some experimental guitar playing over the top.
The bouncy Bob Dylan tambourine beat plays through the whole track.
Various guitar sounds play over the top. I'm not sure what to make of this track. At 45 minutes it's different.
Between 26:52 and 28:56 the guitar switches from noise to a mellow tune (these 2 minutes were my favourite).

If you were thinking of buying one 1 disc from ISOT, I wouldn't recommend 'In Search Of The' Vol.13 'E'. They should make 'In Search Of The' Vol.13 'E' FREE once all the other disc's have been brought. If you buy all 13 disc's, you do effectively get 'In Search Of The' Vol.13 'E' free anyway.

I have to admit, there's something about the 'Bob Dylan tambourine beat' that plays throughout that works really well.

Track 04 - 16:52 (note: Normal drumming, with experimental crazyness over the top)

------------------------------------------------

Track 01 - 10:20 (note: Drums and Guitars, with a tune. Drumming is slightly poppy. Not bad)
Track 02 - 02:31 (note: Slow drum beat, with slow slightly funky guitar. It turns experimental half way through)

Quote^^^

I thought track #1 from disc #3 sounded "prince like" too.

Right now my fave ISOT track #1 from disc #6.

I\'ve only reach disc 5 so far. Looking forward to hearing the rest (and track #1 from disc #6).

ISOT is limited edition. What\'s the limit?
