Really good ZQ!   I love the muted palette you used in both...beautiful colors.....

I have been painting a space mural on my son\'s walls, maybe someday if I ever get it finished I\'ll post some pics...it\'s inspired me to start painting again tho.  It really IS fun, and so relaxing, the time just melts away....

I love the Hair, ZQ if it were possible I\'d love to have hair like painting one and three, number two reminds me of King Crimson\'s in the Court of the Crimson King.

The lil beach on the chesapeake a 10 minute walk from my front door...0630 am...ospreys...great blue heron...there are eagles, ducks, geese and seagulls too...a nice place to go.

I had decided to stop at the river board walk before making the last 10 min trek to home... the jets are comming back from their day missions (reasearch and development) and heading to NAWC-AD Patuxent River Naval Air Station ...which sits at the mouth of the river and Chesapeake Bay...not too far from where I was snapping away. While I was there...that helo had been hovering close tot he water...too quick for me to capture it...I\'m guessing they were practicing Search and rescue stuff.  

Happy you enjoyed the pix...it\'s pretty much how I spend my time these days ... introverted...reflecting...pushing the positives...one day at a time. Nice to be missed...of course youz all in my thoughts each day.

Super wonderful...Congratulations my dear friend...on the arrival of your newest bundled blessing...much heartfelt lovez to your beautiful family!!!

Here are some more...(oye) the same ole duck pond I enjoy...each day is different...these were taken 2.15.10 five days after the East coast blizzard. (South in MD got about 2 feet atop of 12 inches...one day closer to spring...*sigh*  ;)

Your photos are great, esp that awesome sunset! (or was it sunrise?) You\'re the Ansel Adams of bucketheadland! I\'ll be excited to see what spring brings in a couple months.

Will do darlin Duck! Thank you for taking a peek at the pix. Here is another... inland... my brother noted to me that he felt I was out in Sasquatch and Hobbit country.. ;D Just some grassland..and cypress swamp....lots of weeds and knobs.

Cypress swamp is neater in the later spring and early summer...when the snakes, frogs, and wildflowers take hold. An interesting note tho...I either read or was told that Cypress swamp is the east coast "sister" to Muir Woods in Northern Cali...of course the trees in Muir woods are much larger.

I love how you captured the reflections on the water giving a mirror effect. I also dig those ones with the white tree fungus. That last pic of the blue sky with the trees is way cool!

Sunday morning 3.27.11) I peeped outside at early in the morning and to my surprise it had snowed...and was still misty coming down. As soon as it let up I made a trek to a lil place that used to be post WWII Military housing....the buildings are all gone...but if I understand correctly...the cherry trees that remain are the same breed (and some say from the same batch) that were given to the United State by Japan.

While I was taking these pictures I couldn\'t help but study in wonder...and say a loving prayer for the people in Japan...blossoms delicately beautiful  yet...strong through the heavy snowfall.
