This Just In!
The Buckethead Les Paul Studio model is slated to hit stores Feb 2011! MSRP of $1,898.
More details to follow!!
Dig!
Cool, still will never have this much money to get a Buckethead guitar though
Awsome, Bit to expensive, just what headcheese said.
And I\'m not in love with his LP.
I prefer the custom flying v.
I found one for under $1,200! Hopefully I can swing this one. Definitely want to try one out, though.
It\'s great to get another chance at one.
I believe it has the same electronics as the initial run but without the binding, etc....
I am waiting for more info.
How did you find out about it?
Hopefully it\'ll get redesigned... They are prolly re-making it due to an increased interest in buckethead. Smart business move if you ask me and good for big-b! I won\'t lie, if the pick-ups are improved and if the body isn\'t 10 feet thick I\'ll buy one up for sure. I LOVE guitars with-out inlays. That\'s part of the reason I bought my ESP because the inlays are not really noticeable.
I\'ve been searching high and low - cant\' find anything about this guitar on the net. Strange...
Stumpdangler, we need links, pictures, anything you\'ve got.

Hopefully I\'ll have more information soon. So far do know that will have a satin white finish, chrome hardware, mahagony body with maple top, 496R/500t pickups, and be a run of 500. Any of this is subject to change because it is hot off the press.
And it looks like it will have the dual killswitches too.
The kickin\' deal is via Lance at EM Shorts fyi.

That price is the msrp... The LP sig had an msrp of $4,000 and people found it for $1900. $1900 - $2100 = -$200. :D
And BH doesn\'t even play a studio. I don\'t know why that would be a custom of his. Maybe it will be regular sized?
it might be the one he used for a bit, late 2008 and early 2009?
the one with the black pick ups??
If there is another buckethead guitar coming up then there should have some info on the gibson website...
This is going to seem an odd question, but is this model as big as Buckethead\'s? I\'d love this guitar but if it\'s bigger than a usual Gibson there\'s just no way I\'d be able to play it comfortably. I\'m about 6 foot but due to my frame I just can\'t see it feeling good.
I would like another Buckethead guitar for costumizing.
Already got the original signature and I love to play it.
But without a link, this information seems odd to me...
I ain\'t got no link yet! Sorry ppl!
Most instrument manufacturers debut new products at the NAMM show, a music industry trade show event. It takes place this weekend, if I\'m not mistaken. I just happened to be privy to some pre show info. That\'s all. What I know is already posted. Look forward to official announcements from the manufacturer (press releases with more specs, etc...) during or in the days following the show.

I hear ya, man. Same question and problems too!
These fucking coincidences... just recently finished studying and would have gotten the original Gibson BH Signature as present from my parents (I am not spoiled btw, just worked my ass of to get it).
So it was a HUUUUGE disappointment for me to read 2 weeks ago that the guitar is no discontinued.
FUCK! :-(
And it would be even worse if the "new" BH signature will have a smaller body and / or a smaller nut-width.
i\'m small and the sig is perfect on me 8)
^^I\'m a semi large person (6\'3") but have a small frame and it was somewhat normal sized on me, one of my friends has one, and I wanted to kill her after she showed me she got one >:( I play it every chance I get
I hope it has the same scale as the custom. I don\'t see how they could call it a BH model if it doesn\'t, unless they had enough requests for a regular scale model.
PIC!!!!!

SCORE!!
Nice!
Looks like it has the same scale length as the first!
Different fingerboard, though. Definitely doesn\'t look like it\'s ebony. Still pretty rad! I think I want one.
Seems like the only differences are rosewood fretboard and no binding, hm!?
Yes, I want one ;)

Yah...OOOHHHH AHHHHHH
My notes said the neck was slated to be mahogany...and this pic makes me think tis so....rose wood is usually a little darker...hmmm.
Well as some people are discovering, with musical instrument manufacturers specs can change with out much notice!
Great Pic!

That\'s sexy right thurr.
The neck is mahogany, but I think the fretboard is rosewood. The finish is satin vs gloss
I dig the thinner profile, too, at least it from this angle...yeah.
looks like it\'s not chambered from the lack of thickness
good shooting... you see B at namm too.?.

this one looks much thinner but and also no black outline binding like the original one. still looks awesome though.
:o
That is one gorgeous guitar.
Wish I could buy one for playing rather than the sake of just having one, but I\'m only 5\'2. I\'m way too tiny. :P
I will own one someday
That is my goal in life

Just a thought, but with the obviously thinner and potentially lighter, body style this may very well be Bh\'s preferred axe for the time being, to alleviate some wear on the ol\' skeletal system, be it robotic or not.

This is interesting...this BH LP Studio pictured looks a lot thinner than the one I played. Almost by half! I wonder if this is a some sort of prototype, instead of a production model.
