Probably would be too expensive to get pressed and risks or warping in mail would probably be high...But man something like Dragons of Eden, or Chicken Noodles would be so nice to hear on vinyl.

I just picked up Chinese Democracy on vinyl to at least have something with Bucket on LP.

Travis

I was actually going to press "The Dragons of Eden" on vinyl along with the CD. But pressing on 1000 records was prohibitive. The record would have had to have been priced around $20.00 and shipping would have been expensive as well.
And even then it wouldn\'t recover its costs. We often don\'t sell enough CDs to cover costs so the added vinyl is really tough.

Both Chicken Noodles and Dragons unfortunately are probably not good candidates because of the limited interest in them. But there maybe something that is. I would be curious how many would be interested in vinyl.

nuff_said

you\'re right.  it would depend on the recording, but i would be.
Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.

Yea, I can imagine the prices being high for pressings. To have something like Dragons on vinyl though would be amazing. Maybe a split LP or 45 even could work in helping prices, I dunno. I would get excited over a vinyl release though. It really does seem to be making a big comeback. I rarely buy CDs when I know a LP is also being pressed.

I would think $20.00 is more than reasonable. I would be willing to pay more.

Sergeant Whoopass

I would definately go for dragons on vinyl, travis ;D

Nubbins

I\'d pick up a vinyl release, twenty bucks seems very reasonable. Anything would be great, but that Crime Slunk Scene artwork would be awesome on a vinyl sleeve ;D

bornalive

I haven\'t bought Dragons of Eden yet, but from what I understood with the samples, it has a vintage feeling and it would be great to have it on vinyl. I would buy it (either with or without the CD).
Anyway, the CD is in my list of december purchases.

"The Dragons of Eden" is a great album.  I\'m no expert on vinyl, but I get the feeling that it would be pretty cool.

For me, when I\'m trying to make a decision whether or not to do something, I always try to think ahead to...will I regret not doing this later.  I definately feel it\'s better to regret something you did than something you didn\'t do.  Just throwing that out there.

I\'d buy at least one copy. If it\'s a record I really like another one for testing turntables at work. My "Dark Side" gets old and "Slaughterhouse" or "Skinpiles" are too expansive to destroy them on testing. "Dragons" REALLY would be fine but also Thanatopsis, "Population Override" and so on. Everything with a real band and real good sound.

Raw Ketchup

I would buy a vinyl copy of the Elephant Man\'s Alarm Clock or Population Override in a heartbeat.

Big_Swifty

I\'m down with the vinyl. Bring it on. 12" x 12" BH artwork would look awesome. Besides listening to the analog splendor that is vinyl, it would look great hanging on the wall too.

stroke_my_chicken

yeah, i\'d be all up for vinyl!!

vinyl all the way!!!!

ilikeheadcheese

i\'d actually like to see any of buckets cds in vinyl but mainly DOE, EMAC, KNH, or maybe even some DCK

so yeah i think i would buy one. ;)

travis basically do what you wanna do i wouldn\'t buy too much vinyl if your sales are down since people hardly even buy cd\'s or legal downloads any more.
