For those of you who have caught him live this year, how has that been going for him? Takes a lot of guts to go up there truly solo like that. I always worry that electronic gadgets like that would fail at key moments, I\'m guessing he has backups. Travis, my offer still stands for the NY City show-tell Big B I\'ll bring in a backup band and play for free just to hear him play  I Can Only Carry 50 Chickens At A Time. That songs just plain kicks ass and needs to have a full-blown band behind it. Life would be complete! (wakes up and goes to make coffee).....

it does seem to be going really well for him. however, at the euggene show, my girlfriend and i did notice one time when a song seemed to start and he was not ready for it, but he just seemed to skip it and go on to another one. my firlfriend wants me to point out that while big b was great, she still thinks that you miss out a lot on the spontaniety that comes from having a full band. and i can see her point. i listen to buckethead pretty exclusively now, but for years i was a follower of the grateful dead, and although there music doesn\'t even compare to b-man\'s in my opinion, there was that magical spark of of a group of people not quite knowing where the music was gonna take them.  but i\'m over it now, there\'s enough buckethead cd\'s for me to get all the spontaniety i need. but i would really have loved to see brainn live, for sure!!
the less a man makes declarative statements, the less apt he is to look silly in retrospect.

Wires and Clips

He has occasional hiccups, but for the most part he nails it.

It\'s almost like recording live, if you know what I mean. You have to put down your "track" to a fixed recording-not easy to do. I give him credit for sure.

Brain showing up in SF in February was a pretty cool surprise for sure!
Truth:  it's OK if they don't understand.  if you follow it, stay true to it, and respect it, you could be in store for the greatest journey you could ever imagine.
