On the Bucket Board there is the subject "Is that his REAL hair" Well I responded but it was never posted. All the post\'s say its real, but I know for a fact that Buckethead has dreadlocks. I met bucket one night after a three night run of C2B3 shows on the east coast. He had a hoody and his mask on but no long curly hair, just some dreadlooks hiden back there. Also if my memory serves me right he has a serculer tattoo on this throwt. That must have hert like a bitch.

A circular tattoo? Can you describe that a little better? I\'m a little perplexed as to where exactly on his throat he\'s been hiding that during all these years of pictures?

Once agein this was some time ago and my memorye ant what it used to be but I remember a serculer all black tattoo on Buckets lower throat. Im not shur what it was just that it was round and dark. As far as no one seeing it, that is b/c of the long haired wig that covers it. When do we every see buckets lower throat, and who would bother to look anyway? I now it sounds strang but its there.

in the artwork (photos) for Giant Robot NTT records there is a pic of him where you can see his forehead, and you can see its his real hair.  Of course that pisture was taken awhile back, so he could have cut it long ago......

No offence Aftermath, but B doesn\'t have a tattoo on his lower throat. I stood right in front of him at 3 of the Cali gigs. He was within arms length at Sacramento and I never took my eyes off him. Unless he spends a lot of time in make-up before the show, he doesn\'t have a tattoo on his throat. Sorry.

Im not trying to argue with bucketbots here but just because you were standing right in front of him at a few of his shows doesent mean that its not there. Where you looking right at his throat? Plus the long hair and clothing blocks it out. Perhaps it just below his throat on his upper chest, Im not shur but I know that its there, somewhere. It doesent really matter anyway.

No worries Aftermath, we\'re not arguing, we\'re just having a friendly discussion.

If the tattoo is on his chest or upper chest then it could easily be hidden under his clothes. He had a least two layers on (a plaid shirt and rain coat or plaid shirt and goretex jacket depending on the night).

It just seems like a tattoo on an exposed area of his body would just be such a giveaway in terms of identity, not to mention the fact that it would stand out. And I can\'t believe I didn\'t notice it when I was so close, so often.

Secret Recipe kinda chronicles his hair over the years.  Seems to me that it gets a little longer every year.  A wig seems like a bizarre subterfuge to me.

Unless of course he\'s now going the other way and losing all his hair. In which case a wig or toupee (whatever you want to call it) might be handy

Buckethead\'s checklist before a gig:  Bucket, yep.  Mask, yup. Raincoat, check.  Nunchuckas, yup.   Toupee, Duhhh!

Perhaps Buckethead was sporting a temporary tattoo on the evening Aftermath saw him.
