I\'m hoping to meet a bunch of bots, both from here and from the .tk at the show in KC. I\'m probably going to get some of those cheesy "HELLO, MY NAME IS:__PHY!__" stickers so everyone will see me coming, still I\'d like to see a show of hands, so how many people here will be in attendance? Will this be your first trip to Bucketheadland or have you been mutilated before? Also, anyone from the area who has any thoughts on a good spot to meet\'n\'greet, maybe have a nosh, etc.?

I\'m so pumped it\'s absolutely stupid. As I\'m typing this my hands are actually sweating just a little bit.. and I get the butterflies in the belly... what am I, like 10 years old?!

Giggity!

I\'m not sure how many bots that hang out here will be there, probably just us, but I will!

stumpdangler

I\'d like to. I don\'t know if I\'ll have time to do much hanging out, though.  A  meet up with some posters here sounds like fun.

I have never posted here before, but I just bought myself and my husband tickets for the Kansas City show, and I too have butterflies just thinking of seeing Buckethead again!

dewclaw

I saw the last KC show at Crossroads but can\'t make this one.

That is one lucky dude! Love your handle.
See you in KC!

The closer it gets, the less sleep I am getting.  I\'m ridiculously excited.
If you dig Irish food and drink, I think O\'Dowd\'s in the plaza area is really great, and not far from the show.  I end up there at least twice every time I am in KC.

I\'ve lived in KC for a very long time now, and the corner immediately south of the venue (Westport Rd. & Pennsylvania Ave. in KC, MO) is one of the best things to happen to us in a very long time, if you like a huge variety of good craft beers and beer-related restaurants:

http://beerkc.blogspot.com/

You got McCoy\'s Public House, the best brewpub in KC on one corner, great pub-type food with very tasty beers made on the premises; The Foundry right next door, my personal favorite beer bar in town with a ridiculous selection of beers from everywhere and lots of menu items; and right across the street, Beer Kitchen, which is the most beer/food-pairing-oriented type place of the three, probably the \'fanciest\', if you like.  Hard to go wrong there, and all of them are within mere yards of the Beaumont Club.

It\'s been some time since I\'ve been to McCoy\'s and I don\'t think I even realized it was in the same area.  That place kicks ass.

Phy--you know I will be there in spirit!  Have a beer for me!

Oh, and something to lift your spirits more (as if you need help in that direction with this epic trip looming mere days away)--I predict he will play TONKA!

That slinky part in the opening is perfect for a stretch strap show off move!  Let us know if that is true or false.

Excited for you dude! 8)

Oh gawd... I think it moved a little bit when I read that.
I\'m hoping like a mofo that you are right! I\'m so addicted to Tonka now that I\'ve decided against wearing my B tee to the show and instead I\'ll be wearing a Tonka shirt.

Reminds me a little bit of Path Of The Dead from Torn From Black Space (DCK).
