gkg,

Cool site! I only nosed around a little, but saw enough to interest me and want to go back.
Thanks! ;)

Oh Yeah, I too would grab up a copy of One less thing to worry about. I have a few other of Viggo\'s works and really get into them, they just continue to grow on me more and more.
I sure hope more copies become available, or a new release of some selections.
Ears at the ready,

yeah, SA is a terrific poet/actor and his wife, Lorraine, is a wonderful little bird of paradise.

check his different little launch spots into different pages - lots of neat and ever changing stuff going on there.

there\'s a link there to my site, which i\'ll be updating this weekend hopefully.  first weekend home and without guests in a while - haven\'t painted in a month, haven\'t sung in two weeks, haven\'t written in days!
AAARRGGG!!!  :o
Peace.

Yeah, Life gets busy now and then, but then I enjoy the fun stuff even more. Horses are my thing and I\'m in a group that we do routines to music, so I am always looking for music that will work with the different gaits of the horses and that we can splice together to fit the changes of tempo. Challenging at times but I love it.
Have a great weekend and fit in the things you love.
Enjoyment can be found almost anywhere.
Thanks again for the links.

the only problem with fitting in all the things and people i love - the need to remain employed!  as soon as i make enough money without the corporate role, the happier i\'ll be.

have a wonderful weekend - and hey - sweet Chris Moss, how about some horse riding music??

Peace.

Hey gkg - Thanks for the link, you\'re right very cool stuff.

Unfortunately, the only "independent" bookstores here are usually Christian book stores. No interesting reading there for me, former catholic school girl. Got all of that I\'ll ever need and more in high school.

Plaid is BAD. :P

try all girl catholic boarding school!  thankfully i had hip artsy/journalistic parents to balance me into reality.

guess all you can do is hit the websites - lotsa the good indy book places have sites.  mourning the loss of Midnight Special in Santa Monica, but there are still Dutton, Book Soup, Skylight rocks as well...  websearch is our friend.  ;-)
Peace.

Thanks I will check those out.

All girls - just not locked up!  I was labeled a trouble maker - cause I had this annoying habit of THINKING for myself! Sheesh! What nerve! Used to get called on the carpet by the Nuns so often.... Especially Senior year, I replaced the flag with my graffitid uniform shoes, and rebelled by wearing penny lofers....... oooooooooo!  :o

96 high school girls, from 8 countries(+/-) , in one dorm, 4 to a room, 6 showers, 8 sinks... and a little nun-run shop to buy "personal items" from.

i was already labelled a rebel from the moment my folks enrolled me - my catholic/hippy parents refused to put me into Catholic catechism classes (i\'d had enough already) and insisted i take the more "catholic" morality classes...  they tried to refuse until dad said then they don\'t need our money very much...  suddenly there was an opening in the general class.

luckily, my most of my nuns were nearly jesuit in their thinking.  i did ok there, even once they found out i had a female lover on the outside (whom i\'m still with decades later).  mother superior said she knew i wasn\'t a threat to her girls.  well....

 ;D  i am in-no-cent but "i have issues"   ;)

 :-*
Peace.

[glb]there you go tickling the tease bone of the masses again! [/glb]

Actually I think Travis rather enjoys doing just that! ;)

I own OLTTWA, and highly recommend it to anyone that might find a resource other than, as mentioned earlier, the greedy EBAY sellers that misrepresent and make a fortune off of Viggo M. recordings. :(

There is a site  , SmartArtPress.com , that offers copies of "Live at Beyond Baroque" , for those who have not yet obtained the first edition, prior to the latest follow~up LABB 2. (*See Travis\'s store for a copy as well as "Please Tomorrow", VM\'s new releases).
Enter a  Search for Viggo Mortensen, and you\'ll find 3 titles , including LABB, still available at reasonable rates.

*sighs* what a wonderful phrase; Viggo titles at reasonable rates!

My nuns were the Sister of St. Joseph, and not terribly pleasent. They all seemed shrived dries up bitter spinsters (oops I mean Brides of Christ!).  ::)

Live at Beyond Baroque - LOVE IT! Great stories/poets! I had no idea Exene could talk so fast! But the best I think had got to be the last one on disc two - its either Tom Patchett or Jerry Stahl - I think Jerry Stahl about loosing his cherry! I howl everytime I listen to it! I am waiting for Live Beyond Barque 2- Perceval site says delayed until 9/22/04. :o

What is it with all the delays!!! It\'s just torture!! :\'(

Hey gkg -

I can\'t thank you enough for the link to S.A. Griffin\'s site, the more I vist the more I find. It is going to take me a long time to get thru all of it!!

Again many thanks! :-*

SA\'s wonderful and just when you think you\'ve seen all of it he\'ll stick in something new and create a new twist.

Peace.

Hello Travis,

I am eagerly waiting for some kind of further info about OLTTWA. I know these things take time to settle.

In the meantime you might answer my other question, about who is playing the guitar so beautifully in the song "Envidia".

Thanks alot. :D

Pax Vobiscum

Travis

Actually I don\'t know who played that guitar part. It\'s Viggo\'s habit as he travels the world to take a small DAT recorder with him. He often brings back cool slices of audio that get incorporated into his CD\'s. As I recall that\'s how that guitar came to be on the CD.
