thank you for being the outlet, the distributer, of these wonderful gifts that are the limited editions. As a very long time BH fan, I have to say the LE\'s have probably been one of the most exciting musical experiences I have ever had, other than at a live venue. It is very special to me to hear such beautiful music and have such a personal momento of the experience.

I read other posts on this board from people wondering if it is worth the investment, and lableing the music after 1 listen, a listen full of expectation instead of wonderment and feel like I deserved to get a lower numbered disc (HAHA).

People: If you are at all hesitant and worried the music wont live up to your expectation, then dont buy it, or wait. Yes... it is experimental. If you cant listen with an open mind and  find the beauty, you might be disapointed. If you cant take that risk...dont. You can always buy the nonLE after your friends tell you it is cool.

If you\'re willing to take a chance and stretch your imagination you might realize this music is freaking brilliant and find the true path to Bucketheadland...

Sorry for rambling so much, a little to much to drink tonight...

Travis, your postal skills amaze me. Stuff ordered from you comes faster than anyone else I order anything from. Got mine this morning.

You made some great points bB, but let me show you how to ramble on  ;)

.. one thing about these LE\'s as Travis said is the anticipation. After ordering I was like a kid waiting for christmas morning. All weekend I was thinking, "will it be here Monday?". BAM - monday morning comes and so did Best Regards. I didn\'t open it right away I just looked at it for a while - wow I have one, in my hands, I mean who cares about an iPad I got a Buckethead 5 disc LE!! OK I open it - and make that sound Homer Simpson does when he sees donuts followed by that tingling chicken skin feeling ...after that settles a bit I put it back in the cardboard box, can\'t listen to it right now.

All day long I still got those little butterflies of excitement waiting to hear it, "what disc will I listen to first? what\'s it gonna sound like? how many of these are they gonna make? what\'s up with bucket and how does he do it?"
Now many hours later with Mrs Duck working the graveyard shift and the ducklings fast asleep I will finally get to listen to one of the cds, and my anticipation builds again.

I wont get through all 5 tonight, maybe 2? probably just 1. I like to listen to new cds a few times in a row to let them sink in a little. And when it comes to cds like these I just don\'t play it as back ground music while I work or make dinner, at least not yet. I want all my senses to be focused on the music so I have to wait until the time is just right, especially for that first couple spins. So in all reality I will probably ride these waves of excitement and anticipation like a rollercoaster all week until all 5 discs have been listened to.

Then after backing up the discs, I will put the set back and wrap in it\'s cardboard box and it will look just like it did today when I found it in my po box. I\'ll stash it with some other Big B treasures. But the excitement wont end there, everytime I see that box of Big B stuff and see this and other LE\'s I have, it will make me smile remembering how awesome of an experience getting music like this is and how stoked I am to have it. I want to thank all involved.
Mahalo nui loa!!

And the award for rambling goes to . . . . DUCKHEAD!

I love reading all these posts about Best Regards (and LEs in general). I won\'t be buying one, but I still get excited just from reading about it. I may not get as excited as Duckhead, who probably had to change his pants ;), but I still get excited.

Damn duck! now that\'s a inspiring ramble!  ;D 8)

In Search Of The

Agreed with everything in this topic. I took the plunge and snapped up an LE Best Regards because I missed ISOT. I wasn\'t going to miss something as monumental as this, and I certainly won\'t miss another.

In terms of service from here, I cannot fault Travis at all. I live in the UK and even then whatever I\'ve bought has arrived in pristine condition and in around 10 days. Reasonable indeed. I did have one issue with a CD case (the teeth snapping and scratching my disc in transit) but Travis was more than happy to replace it free of charge, no quibbles. I respect him a lot for that, and I only wish I\'d asked him to sign Iconography when I ordered it.

Thank you Travis for your hard work and much success in the future.
