TDRS artists, music and related topics / Viggo Mortensen - Godzilla Sle...
Last post by MuldeR - November 11, 2018, 12:36:28 pm
Just stumbled upon  this:

QuoteGodzilla Sleeps Alone. A new record of music from all the usual suspects-Viggo, Buckethead, Travis, and Henry-along with rookie, Buddy. In seven (mostly) instrumental tracks, the players explore the introspective side of giant monsters, spooky astronomical anomalies, and the far more frightening real world.

I wonder whether this is all new material or release of previously recorded stuff. Are Viggo and Bucket recording at TDRS again?

Also, will this be released on CD (or at least as a digital download)? So far I see Vinyl only...

Best Regards

One of the reasons we started doing live in studio videos is any interst in seeing us live is spead pretty thinnley outside the LA area. We have thought of doing some live stuff here recently, it would be fun. Thanks for the interst.

It has been a long time since the last live in studio video, or did I miss something? Are you planning to do anything more of this kind?

We would appreciate for sure  :)

Dreaming out of a pretty big Pipe here. But TDRSFEST! Not to compare TDRS to other Fests. But the line up would be pretty diverse.  :o

Hello TDRS, I wanted to reapply, forgetting my log in name and the accompanied jumble of a password. For a Long time, now I wanted also to see Buckethead over last New Years eve in Sacramento but was to sick to attend. It pained me to learn of Buckethead's health condition, I was worried for Lindy's Health condition. I got scared TDRS would fold up, go digital or close altogether. I am a long time post'er here. oh... back in the last decade the 00's, I just got the internet again. And am relearning how to internet and trying to find my (old) haunts. (ha haa, old) Just picked up some Vince DiCola from the store. Happy the store is still up. AND HAPPY THE FORUM IS STILL UP! OK, thats good. I bye for now. Chris..

Hi Trev_dog. Thanks for the shout out. It's appreciated. As you can see this place is as dead as CD's. Times have changed. Community has shifted to apps and music distribution has completely changed. Definitely was lively here for awhile. Its a bit of a gas station after the interstate now. I'll keep it here as an archive, a lot of good information is still here. thanks for checking in.

Wow what a trip down memory lane heading back to this site and what a roller coaster of emotions after reading the updates throughout the years about Big B and his health. I saw he was touring as short as one month ago in Colorado. Glad to see hes still going strong despite the health struggles that he has faced, this was a small but close knit community, Colma and Electric Tears are 2 albums that will forever impact my life and shaped my developing musical mind. I'll never forget seeing Buckethead at Murray Theatre in Murray, UT.

Wishing all the best to Big B and Travis for creating a safe space for creativity and music.
