I love collecting Cd's!  I have always wished music was cheaper so that I could collect more.  I would raid used tape bins when I was a kid and in the process found some of the best music.  Then Cd's were the rave, yeah I still couldn't afford new stuff so it was always used.  I have quite the collection still today but I could have more... plenty of holes.  Now that music has become a black market commodity, I have been able to fill those holes.  I do however fix those Spackled holes with the real thing, but as I have been saying it's expensive. Now I really like what Buckethead and other artists are doing with Bandcamp.  I know the money is going straight to them and the prices are great.  I just bought like 9 records off of Kevin Hufnagel, was able to say thank you and got a reply (very much like you Travis.)  I just wish people would stop "producing" music and actually look for talent again, you know serious talent... the music should sell itself.  I play in a band...  Its sad to say that we will never make it no matter how talented we are... unless, we play the game.  You know what I'm saying.  Its just sad that there is this wall of music that is pushed to the public and just about impossible to climb as a musician unless you look, dance, and sing like the wall.  It used to be... we cant make it unless we can "sound" like Yes.  Sorry for the rant... Support underground music!

I have not heard them before.

Wonder why he didn't grab something from the Pike series?  Unless that is what he means behind the word Pike... one and done.

Now its seems new shows have been added after the long stretch ending in July.  ...Only 4 ...and a few months from now ...could he be working with other people and recording something with in these couple months?  could be true.  If so it will be a nice change from the Pikes. ...or will he just blast out a few more Pikes?   Hmmmm

Washed away with my prediction... good good good

Bought one for my Mom before Christmas... so, no its not a limited edition... like I thought it was going to be!

Way over priced for sure, and Buckethead will see none of it!

No end is my guess... he is making good money doing this.  To put it in perspective I get the signed numbered and drawn copies... mostly order the day of... on average I get #100... so that means in a day or 2 he can bring in $3000 plus, just on the special editions.  A very low estimate.  Times that by 70 and you get $210,000... in 3 years.  I know I wouldn't stop!

My guess is that the best part for him is that he gets to be with family more often than if he was on the road... probably making much less too.

These Pikes are like a puzzle - I'll pick out riffs that sound similar and before I can place the song or album it's gone again.

I hear ya... too much info to go through!  Track 3 on 18 I know really well but cant find it.

Yeah, #18 is a great one. But there are very few that are not great ;)

If you like #18, then you probably like #15 as well, especially the 7th track. Not to forget #26, #31 and #32 :o

BTW: I'm still waiting eagerly for names (and regular releases) for #12 to #22.

Your right!  There is very few that I do not listen to all that much but for some reason I keep going back to 18 for some reason!

In fact I listen to all of the Pikes on random all day long... it's been so long since I have listened to anything else from Big B.

Right now, after all the other releases, I like this one the most!  It's so good!  Song 3!!!!!!!  Sound familiar?

It's near-DCK sounding guys! Cover art irks me though...

Watch Halloween III... watch the magic pumpkin, watch.

Deathcube K all the way...
Really digging on all Banjo.  The background effects are just creepy and totally add to the banjo... dark.  Buckethead does finally appear at the end raging through darkness with some stellar, speedy, backwoods jams.

Without a doubt I'll be playing this while handing out candy tomorrow.

People are gonna do what their gonna do... I'm sure that everyone here knows that these recordings can be found on youtube.  I think it's a good way to advertise the music... maybe it will bring someone new to the mix.

I buy his music because it touches me in a way no other artist ever has.  Fortunately Big B keeps cranking them out.  I'm sure it's his way to support himself because he hasn't toured in a while.  I have said this before and now it's a reality... I would rather him put out a ton of music instead of going on tour.  So thank you Buckethead!

I do fear that he is not on tour for reasons that involve his father.  Its hard for me not to think this way since he released a picture of him unmasked hugging his father on a cd.  Its to significant for it to be nothing, so my brain goes straight to sickness when I think about why he has released so much in such a short time.  I hope I'm wrong... maybe its just to see if he can support himself with out touring.  I like that much better.
