Iceman24, that is tough.  None of them are really like the ones you have on your list.  I think CS is similar to ISOT.  DTBB is most similar to PG and is a faster, heavier album.  KNH is really a new thing, but I do think it has some elements of ET, but is really a lot different as well and more experimental sounding.  It is  overall the mellowest of the the three almost by default, and that seems to be your thing.  Oh, there is a very mellow track on CS that is somewhat similar to PO.  Sorry I can\'t be more help.  You might want to check out either of the Shine albums or Shin Terai.  They are really mellow albums that you might like.

Just wanted to update and say that DTBB is really probably more like PG in that it is sort of stream-lined and has a very coherent feel to the whole album.  Definitely it is the one to get for heavy head-banging riffing.  Oh, and KNH gets etter every time I listen to it.  Just some really cool and interesting tracks on that one.

CS:  Volume 14 of ISOT with the note that it is probably the best of the bunch.  Crazy, trippy Acoustic Shards acid trip type track 2 and track 4 is a beautiful mellow wedge.

KNH:  Sounds like Electric Tears, Bermuda Triangle, and ISOT rolled into one crazy, mellowish spring roll of musical delight.

DTBB:  Right in line with EMAC and CSS.  If that is what you are looking for, what are you still reading this for?  Order it now!

I hope that helps people decide which albums are for them.

;D

You didn\'t imagine them hard enough!   :P
Try again tomorrow and I bet it works!   ;D

I live in WV and I just got mine.   ;D  It helps if you imagine them being in the mailbox as you are opening it.   ;)

Huh.  I have never had any trouble with them.  I certainly have never had them wear out any faster than a normal CD.  Plus, now I just rip them to my iPod, so I have nothing to worry about on that front.  Anyway, thanks for the answer as I really had no idea what the fuss was about.

What exactly do people have against CD-Rs?  I don\'t see the big deal either way.

That is a tough one.  I would definitely say that Day of the Robot comes in last.  I like it, but it is not as interesting as the others.  Bermuda Triangle is probably the most polished of them, but I love "Pin Bones and Poultry" off Somewhere Over the Slaughterhouse.  It also has some other really great wedges.  Bucketheadland has a lot of the movie sample type things and the story of Giant Robot vs Guillatine.  Oh, and "Computer Master" which is classic.  Anyway, I would probably go with Bermuda Triangle or Somewhere Over the Slaughterhouse, with the decision between the two coming down to the day of the week.

QuoteYes, you are right, my bad for an example.
Oh, ok. ???

But on the positive side, I guess it makes the one I did get even more special!   ;D

As always, thanks for your response.  You\'re the best! :D

QuoteIf you order print number 1 and 100 have been sold before you, you will get #101.

Travis, sorry to bug you about this, but I thought there would only be 100 of each print.  Does this mean that they will be extended to meet demand?  If so, that gives hope to those of us that want to get more in the future but don\'t currently have the funds.  Thanks!

I also like Maximum Bob.  "Can I have a Ride?" and "Chores" are my favorite Buckethead songs to sing along with (ok, there aren\'t a lot of choices, but still...).  I think "The Hand" is the probably the best track on Enter the Chicken other than "Nottingham Lace."  Anyway, I dig MB, Choptop kinda bugs me at times (bugs me, get it?), but even he has grown on me and has his moments.

I wonder if he\'s going to Disneyland.

Everything about this site is top-notch.  Travis definitely takes great care of us.  I really appreciate it as it makes the on-line buying experience a lot less stressful and more enjoyable.  So...

Thanks Travis!

Btw, I have been listening to Chicken Noodles almost non-stop the last couple of days.  It is such a beautiful album.

QuoteYour right about me getting i it now, but i just want to get a main present for christmas (apart from a drum kit, but my mum wont  let me have one :()

See if you can get them to accept the idea of a bunch of individual albums.  For $450 you could get one heck of a Buckethead collection.  It would probably take all year just to get a grip on it.   ;D

Plus, the $1,000 one is being sold by Zosod.  He seems to buy a lot of stuff from here and then sell it for way more on ebay.  I guess he is free to do it, but I find it pretty obnoxious, especially when a lot of the stuff he charges so much for can still be bought here for much less.  I don\'t like that he is basically cashing in on naive bots\' ignorance of tdrs.  It just doesn\'t strike me as right.  BTW, there is another personalized set on sale for $450 from someone else.  Travis might even be able to authenticate that it is a real set.
