gkg - thanks again for all your comments. The story about you and your son is very cute! See ya around!

It\'s been so blasted long since I\'ve played piano so that\'s not happening, unless Travis cares to lend his talents! But seriously, I\'m not very competant with the piano anymore. Adding some trumpet does sound like a really cool idea, and even cooler when thinking of adding some effects to it.

Getting up and out is a tough thing to do. I have a four year old son that mainly lives with his mother in my area and I feel obligated to stay as involved with him as possible. I\'d only consider relocating if it was a "dream come true" situation - which who knows, may happen. At the same time, money is a huge issue. I\'m barely paying my bills and doing what I want now, so again, a lot of work would have to go into it. About the best thing I can do is try to get gigs and stuff, maybe move, to either northeast Jerz or NYC.

And regardless of anything, I really appreciate your feedback and you make very good points that I\'m seriously considering. Thanks for the support.

Finally, I visited your art/poetry site and I must say that I\'m very, very impressed. Creative Flow is just so cool. Keep up the good work!
hey hey sng,

Thanks a million for your feedback. I really, really appreciate it a lot. To be completely honest with you, I\'ve never even thought about adding some trumpet or keys into the mix. I\'ve just never associated those instruments with metal (although Travis rips it up big-time w/ Buckethead on their jams - so I guess it can be done), but maybe even with special effects, it would be hot. I\'ll have to try it out sometime. I actually have a really dope Doc Severenson trumpet - maybe some blasts out of that ought to wake people up!

Hey Guys,

I have my own site (http://infinitegravity.net) and I\'ve posted two song-like tracks and 15 riffs from a practice session, along with some basic information about me, a supporting weblog and my equipment. I have the worst time naming things (like web sites and an artist name) so don\'t put too much thought into that stuff when visiting my site, etc. - because I certainly don\'t. I\'ve never even had a nickname, everyone just calls me either my first or last name...

I\'d totally dig it if you all checked it out sometime, and of course, welcome any feedback. All of my contact info is both in my profile here and also within my site. I have the most convoluted recording process on earth (so it seems) and the quality is a little bit of an issue. Also, since my process is a little crazy, what I record is only so good because it\'s hard to have the time, energy and discipline to go through with it all (composing, playing, recording and then PC/site work). So...I\'m basically doing the best I can with what I\'ve got. Finally, everything I do is solo - all parts (drums, guitar and bass).

I understand what you\'re saying, but then what would be the point of a forum. Any artist/musician ought to have those viewpoints and understandings prior to sharing their work. But as a musician myself, I totally value what others have to say and I\'ll think what I think about it regardless.

gkg - you rock! Great work and yeah, that face almost reminds me of Buckethead! Please update us when it\'s finished.

Buckethead could land a contract from any label on Earth.  The guy\'s a genius, nice or not.  History has clearly shown what an egotistical, arrogant, drug-abusing fool Axl Rose is.  Does the word "Disfunctional" mean anything to any one of you?

Look, Buckethead is simply incredible.  Pure musical genius, can transcend any style, extremely well versed and highly creative.  The dude\'s talent can take him anywhere and I\'m convinced by the facts.

He\'s a performer, a musician.  So who gives a rat\'s ass what his personality\'s like.  Sure, I hope he\'s a nice personable guy, but utimately, it has no affect on my eardrums.  I love the bastard and I\'m committed to supporting his musical ventures in any way possible.

G n R on the other hand has been, and always will be, a half-ass act.  They sound like crap and they all have the worst reputations, professionally and/or personally.  They have a long-ass track record of acting like fools.  I think they have no substance and are a complete waste of everybody\'s time.  They had a handful of decent, catchy tunes on their first disk.  It\'s been downhill since.  They are all has-been\'s.  Buckethead is just beginning!!!!

I read in some buckethead interview that he has over 40 old-school (stripes & colonel) buckets to choose from!  Who knows?  He could probably afford to have any buckets made of any style or texture...and as many as he wants.  There\'s no way on Earth that bucketbotchickenboy is a girl.

I bought this album from CD Universe online.  Here\'s the linkage: http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6716478&cart=190130549&style=music

Rock on.  The price was fair and the order process, along with the delivery went smoothly.  For many obvious reasons, I\'d prefer to do business with Travis so I hope he gets his hands on this title to offer.
Yes, I must admit that I\'ve never listened to an entire album of theirs so maybe I\'ll check out the one you mentioned.  I hate to hate bands, but anything I have heard with friends hasn\'t been impressive in a positive way.  And hey, to each his own, right?
Yeah, I don\'t follow the band and I\'m sure the guy has talent/skill (more than me), however, I can\'t stand anything I\'ve ever heard from Radiohead.  Someone needs to hand the guy a fistful of syringes so he can croak already.  It\'s so washy and pointless to me.  Just felt like chiming in on the subject.  They remind me of bands like Oasis and Coldplay.  These whimpering and whining fools are just too depressing for me.  Give me the shred.
