Oh man. Love this stuff. I\'m partway through the album now. You\'re playing and writing are great. The only thing I\'m not much of a fan of is the level of compression you used for some of it. Sometimes when it really presses down hard cause of the bass kick it is distracting me from the other instruments cause it\'s pumping the volume of the guitar or changing the timbre a bit. Around 1:40 of Vital Fluids, for example.

Just got to Baker\'s Point. Three thumbs up.

Also I think cause it\'s pushing 40 minutes, what we have here is an album not an ep

Actually, right now Stuntcoyote and myself are the only ones with votes for a metal song (5 and 2 votes respectively). It\'s 30% for metal and 70% for lighter, slower music.

I liked your song. It was definitely was influenced by Buckethead and it was impressive that you could play it on a mandolin.

For me, this was about having fun. No objections here.

It\'d be fun to have another competition with as many channels as you want. It\'d be cool to have a torrent with all of the songs for people to download in a lossless format as well! Then I could burn off a CD with them to listen to at work or whatever I don\'t know about the rest of you, but my original track went from around 52MB down to 4.8MB or something.

I\'m a youtube/video making noob. Managed to get a maginally better sounding version here:

It does! I used it in windows. I\'m using XP though, so maybe there\'s issues with Vista/Win7. Worked fine for me except sometimes when I\'d export the drum track and the play button would get stuck in the ON position, but no sound. Just had to restart the program and the last drum track just loads up automatically so it\'s no big deal.

Bucketfel, I just downloaded an open source drum machine called Hydrogen. I think it works in Linux, MacOSX and Windows. Nothing to get crazy excited about in terms of quality, but you could probably learn about making beats with it. Here\'s a link if you want http://www.hydrogen-music.org/

How is everyone doing with their songs? So far I have 2:39 of beats and music to go over it  

I said I was up for the challenge! I\'ve got about 1:03 worth of beats and music laid out. 1:30 to go
