"Don Van Vliet, who became a rock legend as Captain Beefheart, died today from complications from multiple sclerosis in California. His passing was announced by the New York-based Michael Werner Gallery, which represented his work as a painter."-Rolling Stone

Another musical genius gone, but not forgotten.
Found out of at the TK that Buckethead has a new song on itunes for the relief of Japan. Titled "The Rising Sun", 100% of proceedings from the song will be donated to the relief effort in Japan.

Buckethead loves Japan, check it out Bots!
Where I live, there isn\'t a lot of oportunities to go to rock concerts. For some reason however, Buckethead enjoys doing shows in Colorado (He did 4 or 5 shows in 2009). I traveled about 365 miles to see him at Mishiwaka.

How far have you travled to see Buckethead?
or, How far would you travel to see Buckethead?
While surfin\' around on the TDRS store i saw "City of Woe" listed as a track on Shadows. I had downloaded Shadows off of Itunes about 3 months ago, and had never heard or seen this track. Just kinda miffed I missed out on a track Itunes doesn\'t have. >:(
I looked 20 threads back before I decided to post this, but apologies anyway if i\'m repeating an old thread. I\'ve always wondered what Buckethead fans call themselves. Can\'t go the Deadhead route becuase "Bucketheadhead" doesn\'t quite role off the tongue. I always liked slunkhead, and I think you guys call yourselves "Bots".
