Travis,
You all tore that album up! I absolutely love it. It is quite "out there" for my usual tastes, but I love it anyway. You absolutely killed the frikkin keys man. Killed em - did a frikkin boot stomp - poor Hammond! Never heard you play so aggressively and raw. (Yet maybe I haven\'t listened closely enough) That was my favorite part of the whole album and I wish you appeared on more of the tracks but there\'s always tomorrow etc. Also, I thought Choptop\'s writings were deeper, more creative and had a much more dynamic delivery than previous works. I bet that album was a ton of fun to make! Thanks for the good times man.
Thanks, that was fun. Pinch Bucket and I some few days later got together and just wailed some crazy jams, quite like what your talking about. I\'m going to mix it up and offer it on the download page, I\'ll post a sample when it\'s done.
I\'m so ecstatic man!!!! Can\'t wait to hear THAT!
Excellent news Travis....really looking forward to hearing these jams. Great way to get the music out. If you\'ve got any other archival recordings of similar jam sessions, I bet a bunch of us would be willing to pay 8 or 9 bucks to have such great music from such talented folks. No sense keeping all this stuff locked in a vault somewhere. On a related note, any word on how the new Thanatopsis is progressing. Looking forward to that, as well.
peace.....acrellim
Thanatopsis gets worked on whenever I get the chance. There are several project going on here at the same time that I\'m sure you will be interested in. I don\'t want to be specific cause I always look foolish having predicted a particular record on a particular date. We are hoping to use the download service prominently and hope it will give us some creative freedom to do some stuff we couldn\'t otherwise.
looking forward to it all!
