Title: Legit or bootleg buckethead DVD??? Live @ state theater 2005
Post by: Tempbucketdog on July 21, 2012, 12:31:53 pm
So I saw this on eBay and was compelled to buy it because I've never seen this DVD before. But half way through the bidding the item was cancelled and no further bids were accepted. If this is a real DVD, where can I buy it? If its a boot, where can I download it? And if it is a boot, it's f**ked up someone is trying to profit off B with out permission......

It was a fake. A bootleg done up with some fancy artwork and a snap case.

Don't spend your money on this stuff folks. Aside from Secret Recipe, and Young Buckethead Volumes 1 & 2, there are no legitimate DVD releases of full length Buckethead concerts. You're only lining the pockets of some scammer who whipped this up in his home office for pennies.

Isn't there an official Aggie Theater bootleg? I heard it was sold at some shows...

Cornbugs aren't full length Buckethead concert performances, but they are an official release. Aggie Theater is audio, not DVD.

Most of the bootleg dvds were available vie trading outlets and allowed by buckethead as long as they were not sold. Ive been out of the trading loop for years, but Im sure you can track them down with a little effort (by effort I do not mean downloading.)

Not sure if this is ok or not but I have a large collection of Buckethead bootlegs from the divx website before it went under. I am happy to share them but don't really know how to go about it.  If anyone is interested let me know. I have about 35 complete shows, mostly from 2005-2009. 10/26/05 State Theater is one of them.
