I just gotta hand it to buckets this album is truly remarkable and excellent followup to electric tears.. one of my favs off of it is Point Doom..
simply astounding.. keep them coming buckets.. cheers to more releases for 2012.. waiting for more pikes.
On the first play through, his rendition of La Wally (originally by Alfredo Catalani) had me close to tears. Until then, I'd dropped all belief that there was true emotion left to be squeezed out of guitar music. I thought I'd heard it all - every trick, every technique, every tone, amazing as they all were. It goes to show there's just so much left.
The CD has just arrived. Amazing. I like it very much.
I wonder which two original pieces of J. S. Bach Buckethead has adapted.
La Gavotte is clear. Not Bachethead for me.

La Gavotte and Bachethead are both versions of Gavottes 1-2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECoJ67LWjyg

So I hope I will finally get to listen to that record this week...
Did I miss out on buying this one? was it available through tdrs or elsewhere?
through amazon.
Now that I listened through the first 5 pikes I finally got the chance to hear this album the whole way through. 11 tracks to listen to and I already want more of it! I can't even decide whether my favorite song is Swomee Swan, Point Doom, El Indio, or The Homing Beacon.
^ it is el indio
The best songs on Electric Sea are Swomee Swan, Yokohama, and The Homing Beacon . But Swomee Swan is my favorite :)
