If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.

I live by a philosophy I lovingly call the "nap supposition" - everything can be solved with a good nap.  Think about it.  When toddlers are cranky they are told to take a nap.  When they wake up, generally speaking, they are much more corporative.  Try it out.  The next time your boss is getting pissy at you, look him straight in the eye, snap your fingers and point, and with that oh so parental voice say, "Go take a nap."  And, if you get fired, then your problems are solved, because you get to...you guessed it...go take a nap.

I fear this thread has just fallen in to unseemliness...so sorry...

^ That\'s a bit of a conundrum isn\'t it?  I never said it was a perfect system.  The question one must ask oneself at this juncture is: Did you have a good time sleeping all day?  If the answer is yes then -- job well done.  If the answer is no then -- perhaps you should have stayed awake long enough to constitute a nap, and then...job well done.

Sorry I'm not more cleaver then that - I probably need a nap.  Although I didn't have to work today, and you bet your ass I took one!

PS - I used to love to sleep all day and then stay up all night watching bad T.V.  You should see some of the crap I\'ve bought on QVC.

I like the nap theory! I\'ll have to add that to my list that I\'ve been working on for a while. Here\'s a bit of it:

Philosophy 101  ;)

1.      You're not as important as you think you are. Neither is anyone else.
2.      It'll all be the same in 100 years. At least as far as human reactions go.
3.      Laughing is more fun than crying.
4.      Doing no harm is a good start. Doing good is a lot trickier.
5.      Influence is more satisfying than power.
6.      Pain stops. Laundry & dishes go on forever.
7.      Doing things is a lot more fun than having things.
8.      Intelligence & stupidity go hand in hand. Stupidity often has the upper hand.
9.      It's important to have one friend you can trust completely. More is gravy.
10.      Today is all there is. Make it as good as you can.

Now...I think I\'ll go have a nap!  ;D

This is agood thread going. :)

on a humorous note - Sex is like dancing, it\'s always better with a partner! ;D

on a more philosophical note - A man who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything.

or - The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.
