Greetings all in Bucketheadland, I am a new poster at the forum but no stanger to TDRS! If everyone had the opportunity to create an all-star band line-up to join Big B on tour...hopefully in support the new LE holiday CD.. who would you like to see? Since I been playing the new disc non-stop, I can\'t get the idea of a tour for this music out of my head! I have a dream of seeing:
Buckethead-Guitar
Travis Dickerson-Keyboards
Billy Sheehan-Bass
Terry Bozzio-Drums
Bill Moseley-Vocals
Vocals? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Much as I like the people you mention Silverado I think that Buckethead would rather play with people he\'s comfortable with, ie: people who he\'s played with in the past.
So, to that end, here\'s my choice(s):
Buckethead: lead guitar (Obviously! LOL!)
Mirv: rhythm guitar
Travis: keys
Butthouse: bass (or Bootsy, but I\'d rather see House!)
Brain: drums. (this is a "no Brainer" - horrible pun!)
If there has to be vocals (I\'m good either way) I would go with Bootsy and/or maybe Maximum Bob and/or cameo appearances, like for instance Patton (dreamy!) maybe Serj, and some of the other vocalists from Enter The Chicken.
This would be the traveling road-show of the Century.
More fun would be had by all than a truckload of barrels of monkeys.
I can dream...
smooches,

Buckethead - Stun Gun
DJ Disk - Turntables
Bootsy or Bill Laswell on bass
Brain drums
Travis on keys
Maximum Bob vocals if there had to be vocals

Definitely a fantastic dream. I love the idea of cameo\'s..the more the merrier Pigface type show with different vocalists would be an awesome twist from what he\'s done in the past. Keeping the usual suspects as the main band! That would only happen in my dreams!!
Buckethead-
John Paul Jones- bass, keys
Travis Dickerson- keys
Brain-drums
Robert Plant-whatever he wants to do
Jimmy Page- ditto the above

at least the guy on stage knows who the best hockey team is ;)
Hmm noone has given any love to Neil Peart so I would have to sayyyyyyy
Buckethead - guitar, nunchaku
Dave Grohl - Whatever he wants because he is super talented, he even plays a mean triangle.
Neil Peart - Drums
John Paul Jones - Like stumpleganger, JPJ is super underrated, not to mention he has the same birthday as me.
;D
Paul Gilbert - Gotta have some epic guitar battles and facemelting solos with PG and Buckethead, both have similar playing styles but make it their own.
My choices:
Buckethead-Guitar
Travis-keyboard
Brain-drums
Bootsy-bass
Maximum Bob-vocals
Thanks for mentioning Neil, T-dog. The idea came through my mind as "Pythagorean Sled cruises Aristotle\'s 13th book of Metaphysics."
not the ultimate touring band but the ultimate show for me would be something like this:
An art showing of Buckethead\'s latest works.
First set - Travis, Ramy & Big B.
Intermission: headcheese and slaw is served as we all buy up Big B\'s art.
2nd set - Monti (on bass), Brain & Big B.
btw - did I mention this is an exclusive show for TDRS members only ;D
I can dream, right?!
Buckethead - Guitar and glow in the dark cattle prod
Les Claypool - Bass, whamola, peck and tear portions
Melissa Reese - Percussion, ice scraper
Travis Dickerson - Keys, slunk wrangling
Pinchface - Drums, cadaver set-up
Buckethead
Monti

Uncle Mikey to warm us up AND play a few Frankenstein Brothers tunes during. Perfect!
smooches,

Claypool. Buckethead. Brain. Easy.
1977 era Kiss, just add Bucket as a fifth. Open the cover to Alive 2 and put BH right in the middle. That would be a visual show. Not sure what BH would do with Cold Gin, but would love to hear it. As long as we are dreaming put Metallica 86 and the Ramones 79 as the openers.

Buckethead & iPod backing track.
I don\'t think his live shows ever came together better then when he started doing this.

I have to respectfully disagree.
Billy Sheehan on bass and Neil Peart on drums.

Had a feeling that was coming. Respected of course.
Working with Bill Sheehan would be killer!
Buddy Miles, Billy Cox and Bernie Worrell.
