Well congrats on Travis for finally releasing his first solo album, i hope u have an overwelming response not only from us who buy from time to time, but from those people who listen for the first time, i hope they get blown up by the music u have created as i did when i first heard the songs.

First off - Awesome Travis!! I hope you are as excited about releasing this as we all are about hearing it. The artwork is phenomenal (will posters be made available?) I can\'t wait to buy it, I want to send my money now. I\'m very intersted in track 11 - it all looks intriguing. And that is a great title, very appropriate to the music I\'m sure.

Congratulations Travis on what looks like is gona be a terrific body of work!! I support the notions of this pleasing loyal followers but that it is likely to attract fresh faces also; the musicality and texture in those two tracks you\'ve made available to preview is immense! I particulary enjoyed the addition of strings- a violin to Scansion and a cello to Legerdmain- believing they, not so unsurprisingly really, added a welcome extra dimension and layering/depth both to the mix/style whilst also being allowed, like the guitar, drums and keyboards, to jump out a little and articulate at points-lengths during the song! Very dense music yet alive and organic...looking very much forward to the full album. Cheers Travis! ;D

Thanks everyone for your interest. I\'ve added pre-ordering to the Iconography page for those that expressed an interest in it. The release is a little uncertain, plus or minus a day or so because of the holiday season but I\'m told they will be ready before Christmas.

ya no. travis says hes been meaning to get out to do some live shows.... with the release of the new album, nows as good as time as any.. you never know is what im saying. but honestly after bh\'s last tour.. itll be hard not to top it. so im excited for whatever is next tour wise for bh (as long as he gets in some type of band)

Thanks to everyone who placed a pre-order for Iconography. I\'ve got word that I can expect them to arrive to me today (22nd) or tomorrow. Because it\'s so close to the holidays there was some uncertainty about it\'s exact arrival. As soon as they arrive they will be mailed out. I\'ll post here as soon as they arrive.

I finally got enough time to listen to Iconography all the way through. I listened to half of it a few times.
Definitely a lot happening. Maybe kind of like a melodic Needle In A Slunk Stack. I like the Theremin.
I played a little of Iconography for my husband, and he said the music sounds like a mix of Kansas and Yes. He is impartial, so I hope that\'s a compliment. I can kind of hear that era in the music. I also heard a few echoes of Floyd, which I really enjoyed.

listening to Icon again #6 just finished.
I think the comparisons were spot on with Flyod and Yes and Thanatopsis and Dragons of Eden but it also has elements of Gorgone and Population Override as Well.
I was not a fan on facebook hmm and fergot about the Chicken Noodle CD\'s Icon has hints of them too.
oops...I think I left this CD on the train! I hope someone is enjoying it!!! Will have to order a new one...
I\'m a long time lurker but I recently registered. I have to say, I got my copy last week. The two preview tracks only hinted at the depth of this CD. I love it. I understand now how much Travis has contributed to Thanatopsis, the Dragons of Eden and even Population Overide. This takes that and expands on it immeasurably. I\'ve listened to it now several times and it takes a while to really appreciate the all the amazing complexity\'s of the arrangements. This will be spinning in my CD player for some time to come. I came here as a Buckehead fan and now I\'m a big Travis fan. Can\'t wait to see what else is coming down the pipe.
