Twinge sample?

i was checkin gotu some Material, and on the song Ruins (submutation dub) at the begining it souds like the intro to twinge? am i right?

It is always worthwhile checking Laswell\'s evolution of sounds, and Ruins is a great example. First, these tunes, I think, were to be found on Deadline/Dissident. That\'s pretty much a jazzy and accoustic set. It was once again done by the same musicians minus Hellborg and Johansson plus Masabumi Kikuchi in an electronic sound set, title Kikuchi/Dreamachine, track Black Star Dub. Finally Ruins on HallEng in an ethnic arrangement. All of them do well deserve to exist!

As to similarity with Thanatopsis/Twinge, sorry, but haven\'t found any.  Wouldn\'t be a surprise, though, to see a Material influence in Buckethead\'s works.

on ruins its at like 7 seconds into the sound is like trible dancing chants...

That little blip of music at the beginning of the song is some radio interference I was getting on an effects pedal. I thought it was cool so I placed it at the front as an intro. I have no idea what it is.
