Wow, limiting my top 3 favorites off of ISOT seems nearly impossible! ;D

everyone will probably pick
disc 5, song 1
and
disc 3, song 5

i agree.  so hard to choose.  i have a favorite while it\'s on.  then, the next song comes on and IT\'s my favorite.  that\'s buckethead for me though.  all of it.

i can\'t remember which disc it is.... but there\'s one with a lot of really scary spooky parts that made me jump.. i loved that ;)

If I am limited to just three then at this moment my three favorites, or rather the three I have played the most would be:

Disc 2 Track 5
Disc 5 Track 1 and
Disc 8 Track 1

as always they are subject to change depending on mood, etc.

This is tuff so i\'ll throw a couple out
Disc 1- Track 6
Disc 9- Track 1
Disc 6- Track5
Not in any particular order, and not necessarily my top 3 ;D

Due to the fact that every song is untitled, and that I tend to play them all off a huge playlist I compiled on my computer, I have no idea where my favorite tracks are.  I know what they are when they come on, but damned if I could find them again.

You might say I\'m constantly In Search Of The tracks I want to hear.

Ok, I apologize for that, I couldn\'t help myself >.>

Oh, I know one I like!  Disc 1, track 3.  Sounds like someone took some traditional light jazz and put it in a blender.

I agree! This is actually a really neat way to find new songs! ;D

Ok...here I go!

Disk 9, Track 3
Disk 1, Track 3
Disk 6, Track 3

(hmm.. they all are the 3rd song, NEAT!)

But there we go, three of my favorites! ;)

NICE Matthew :)

this is fun.  i\'m going to have to contribute sooner or later.  no one has chosen disc 13 as one of their tracks yet ;)

that may be one of mine, but i\'ll do it fair & square and wait til i\'ve given it all a listen with the intent of picking the 3.

how \'bout Solar?  any choices yet?

Vol. 2 track 5 is one of my favorite Buckethead songs to date.

Vol. 6 track 3 does it for me as well, and Vol. 2 track 2 has all the funk i can stand!

Gotta love the set!

There is no real way to pick a fav...for me...all 13 delicious loaves create this amazing incredible symphony...I love every bitz of In Search Of The.
On expedition at least 13 times through ...and everytime i see/feel new sights...no getting tired of it!
Thank you Buckethead!! ;D
If i was forced to pick 3 scenes that stand out in my brain...where i love to visit again and again....
N vol. 2 track 5 takes my breath away...
R vol. 6 track 3 reminds me of lovers/friends at play ...over too soon i\'d say.
E vol. 13 a magnificent finale...ignites every neuro pathway and touches every vein... ;D

BIG HUGZ!  :)

i mentioned before that i really noticed the spooky chillers  :o, so some of the tracks that stand out for me are

disc 12, tracks 2 and 4
disc 10, track 1

although, i\'m bewitched by all of them.  you know, if you keep posting with "i changed my mind.. the ones that really stand out are..." you can eventually list the whole thing :)

I would give anything for a longer version of  Disc 8 Track 6.   Thirty seconds just isn\'t long enough for such a fine song.  Makes me feel like I am wondering around the pyramids when I hear it.

QuoteMakes me feel like I am wondering around the pyramids when I hear it.

The sample heard in the beginning of that track is from Jodorowsky\'s Holy Mountain, precisely during the bloody scene with the frogs and lizards at the Aztec pyramids.

Hello. I wonder if Travis or anyone can comment on the second half of disc 10 track 3. Is that a sample or original composition? Bucket is channeling some serious Wendy Carlos vibes. It is great.

Great thread!

The sheer enormity of this work makes it almost impossible for me to navigate.  Everything mentioned by you guys so far is excellent.

Keep them coming, please!
