Their are certain BH songs that sem to stop time when im listening to them, like nothing else matters.
For me
Too many humans - pop override
Sea of expanding shapes - bermuda triangle
walk on the moon - shadows between the sky
Just to name a few
Everytime they start playing i have to stop what im doing and listen to them, they are perfection
What are some songs that make you question your own existence??
Yeah this is a fairly heavy thread, the hardcore fans will probably get where im coming from
Witches on the Heath, and the whole of Electric Tears.
dawn appears, she sells sea shells by the slaughterhouse, the homing beacon.
Aunt Suzie, Broken Mirror, all of Shadows Between the Sky, and track 5 of the Holiday Album
Mustang usually has me staring off in to space for quite some time (even after the song is over). Others would be Landing Beacon, Mr. Beasley, and Maps Of Impossible Worlds.

I also like ISOT CD 3, track 3.
Man such a special song...
my songs do not stop time, they make it dissapear completly.
Soothsayer has to be my big example. Each year in Chile i used to go and do the Nike 10k and each year i went, the last kilometer i had to run was the most difficult and luckily every year, when i got to the 9k mark soothsayer started playing and time just went by and i was already in the finish line. (i do one kilometer in 9 minutes so Soothsayer covers it completly, hahaha)
Right now Track #9 on the Holiday Le continues to blow my mind! While I love the shred solos and the crazy 8 finger R2D2-C3PO rants, when he plays those epic leads that burn into your memory that is what I love the most! Track 9 has a morbid beauty that leaves me feeling like I woke up on the day after the end of the world to walk alone through an apocalytpic wasteland!
Ulver - The Future Sound Of Music
Thanatopsis - Twinge
Arcana - Returning
Buckethead - Hills of Eternity
...just a few of the songs that stop time for me.
Lurker, all 4 parts, Nottingham Lace.
dreamcatcher, emotional intelligence, tag of war they are ear candy
