yes, it is real bad. you\'re too young to have had body counts on the news as a kid, but i bet you\'ve heard about the horrible things we did in Viet Nam. My Lai was the most highly publicized, but we did a hell of a lot of bad shit over there. it\'s a part of our arrogance as a nation, i think, meaning our swaggering freefloating anger that drives us to have road rage and mass murderers the likes of which the rest of the world does not. something in our national psyche appears to breed rage, and a smirking approval of "teaching them a lesson" that allows for shooting up and burning houses with families inside.
