this has been fun to read and the race has been very interesting to follow, not to mention the comic relief that\'s come of the whole fiasco.

QuoteCare not what fool wears the crown, for the real throne is not anywhere to be seen. The "wealthy" are (for the most part) the ones running the show in the illusion of the physical world. The leaders and their political parties are actors in a farcical charade of sloganism, iconicism and false-patriotism, actors that are installed in roles meant to portray the best intentions in heart for some or all people, when in fact they do not deliver anything but more "wealth" for their benefactors. Of the many acts corrupt and insipid delivered by these demons (if you choose to see any being\'s actions as negative), the greatest illusions they have fostered for controlling the puppet theater is the belief in death and material. As long as these illusions persist, so will suffering. The very nature of thought itself is constantly under attack, as we are forced to submit to the constraints of classical sciences and mathematics to graduate through an academic system that, by design, precludes outsiders from professing truth and living by instinct and innate knowledge. We are not here to learn in this illusion, we should be un-learning. Words and names and distinctions limit the flow of source, limit the ability to drink of it without pause. Even writing these words is taxing on my inner self. Every label that we affix takes us further away from the pure consciousness, makes us less cognizant of truth and harmony... we are not meant to separate and categorize, not even the worst things... We are presented hurdles in the life illusion that are meant to facilitate experiences, draw out awareness and interaction,  bring a sensory complexity of light, dark, love, joy and sorrow to be absorbed.... let us be co-authors and co-inhabitants of an exchange of energy that doesn\'t look for reason or blame or a parking space at Wal-Mart. Love MB.

well put MB!!

George Washington was right. Having political parties will breed nothing but corruption.

reminds me of something the P\'s said:

The system is corrupt, it does not work, it does not honor life, and it does not honor Earth. That is the bottom line. If something does not honor life and does not honor Earth, you can bet it is going to fall, and it is going to fall big time.

Consciousness must change. This is part of the Divine Plan, and this opportunity and setup are not going to be missed. There has been an overinvolvement in the material world and a complete lack of understanding of the nonphysical world that exists all around you, so there will be a reprioritizing of what comes first in life. People will stand up, once they have lost everything, who had never thought of standing up when they owned everything. People will awaken to the incredible potential of themselves.

true Ella.  when there is a big crowd gathered, don\'t forget to look the other way to see what is really happening.

i don\'t care for the "what are humans supposed to do about it" attitude.  if we could take some responsibility, (and stop waiting to be saved) maybe we\'d see how powerful we really are.  i\'m not one to sit around and "hope" things will get better

but, the topic is about Afghanistan and it is very, very disappointing, but unfortunately, i\'m not at all surprised.  not at all.

hey Egg... remember that link you sent me about a year ago with the interview with that mind control gal?  still have it?  i accidentally deleted it.  thanks!!

good points

i\'m excited though - when you think of all the different areas of our lives that would be improved with a healthier outlook on life

by honoring our bodies by eating no pesticides, we\'ll be as a side effect healing the planet - same goes for all sorts of other food/planet related issues

and think of all the money saved and pollution not produced when it comes to medical devices and medications to treat people with all these problems they have from being unhealthy in their lifestyles

the side effects will be so positive and on a global scale, so profound - it\'s really such a simple solution to a lot of seemingly complicated problems - and we can achieve it, each and every one of us, each time we make a choice of what to eat...

sheesh - finally, lets focus on gettting some good food into our kids and in their schools, and make healthy food affordable to all who choose to have it!!! i think it\'s good they have the sports backing... but sports are not the only way to get good exercise - walking, playing, dancing... these are all good ways, and... don\'t forget that most sports are heavily endorsed by SODA and other stuff we want to avoid - so lets get creative folks !!

p.s.

FOOD INC is nominated for an oscar

AND

it has been the best selling (and in the top 3) DVD in the nation for a little while now too - THAT is awesome - there is revolution in the air

hear hear to that

it is baby steps and it won\'t be easy but it can be done if we want it

QuoteThis is good news.  I remember that the governator vetoed a bill to allow California farmers to grow industrial hemp, which is baffling.

A good book to read is Jack Herer\'s \'The Emperor Wears no Clothes\', it is available free online:  http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html

It is a disgrace that in the \'Land of the Free\', we incarcerate a larger percentage of our population than any other nation in the world.  Many of these people are non-violent drug offenders.

The prison industry is being privatized and many of these inmates are nothing more than slave labor that is used by corporations such as IBM, Dell, etc.  See http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=8289

And ultimately, it is still a federal crime to possess marijuana, and the federal government established its dominance over the states in the Civil War.

thanks.  i passed it on :)

if people are going to sell it w/o permission then it is probably best that it be managed

his family at least can contribute to humanitarian causes if they choose, rather than people profiting and lining their pockets w/o the right to do so...

Bob would maybe have hoped people could just be cool huh?

We live on eastern Long Island where there are many farms. My wife just informed me that although we attempt to buy produce from these farms, the difficulty is finding ones that grow organic, as most use pesticides. I understand the farmer\'s dilemma here, as bugs and weather can destroy a crop. Wonder if there is a list of organic farms in the area?

Tough trade off on the snack taxi since you need a washable container. But at least with that solution you only use one bag. So Mrs. Egg says it wins over the throwaway bags. Recycled paper bags for the teens lunches, or $5 bills for lunch.

By the way, congrats on post #500:)

Yep - I\'d never allow a child to buy lunch at the school cafateria unless it was one like at MLK Jr.  That standard cafeteria food is worse than prison food.  It\'s disgraceful.

Hey, I would have never noticed that #500, haha!  Thanks :)

I searched CSA\'s in my area and found organic farms.  Try searching that way.  There seems to be a LOT of organic farming going on out here so I can\'t imagine that there are none near you.  Do a little diggin :)

Because she always lecture\'s me on this exact issue-I\'m basically lazy and will drink from plastic throwaway cups, and will eat off coated paper plates just so I don\'t have to wash them. She, on the other hand, will do the extra work (putting glasses in the dishwasher). I work at home, so I\'m usually the one that cleans up when the kids go to school and she goes to work. Me and the dog, and he doesn\'t help cleanup after the tornado departs daily-lol.

Ah, I see now, hehe!

I\'m checking out the local CSA\'s Ella, thanks!

I already shop every Sat. at the local Farmer\'s Market and I grocery shop at local stores that carry locally grown organic produce.  My concern with CSA\'s is that I may wind up wasting and I can\'t stand waste!!  At least with the stuff I select, I\'m certain it will be consumed in the household.

I suppose Mrs. Egg wouldn\'t be interested in either SnackTaxi or Wrap-n-Mat due to the plastics that are in the products.  That was the one thing that almost prevented me from buying SnackTaxi, but for the time being, the non-use of baggies wins the contest, and SnackTaxi won because it\'s produced here in the US.

My wife absolutely hates plastic touching her food or drink! When I show her this I will have to shield myself! She would rather wash a glass or ceramic cup than drink from a plastic cup. Same with plastic plates, microwaving is an especially a big no-no.

why will you have to shield yourself for showing her this?

p.s.

Even parents using this information and packing healthy organic lunches instead of contributing to the problems associated with cafeteria foods and fast foods makes a difference.

Your wife will probably like SnackTaxi too - re-usable sandwich and snack bags.  Between these, unbleached wax paper bags, bio plastics and products sold at sites like Life Without Plastic, we can really make huge change in this way too :)
