Hmm, I don't know much about comic books. Yet I don't really see how that forces someone to buy all of them under any circumstance. It's cool to have all of them though, but it's also cool to have all 36 of Buckethead's studio albums too, isn't it? It would be a pretty amazing idea if Buckethead were to write a long song for an album, split it in half, and put the first half as the last track to his next album and the second half as the first track to the following album. That way it's seamless between releases.
I think you took that too literally... The series concept might make some people want to collect all of them.

I have mixed views on uploading songs to youtube. Are there stats that prove it hurts sales? Does it improve sales because people can sample it beforehand? Technically, illegally downloading a song does nothing to an artist. I kind of think that those who download things illegally wouldn't pay for it if paying was the only option. Think about that. If they don't want to pay, they won't pay. So why try? Personally, I buy everything out of respect for the artist, but I have a feeling that youtube creates exposure.

Really, the point of the Pikes series was just finding a fun way to release Bucket's music aside from TDRS. The comic book idea is great and probably helps with sales. Because you just HAVE to have all of them even if you don't enjoy all of them. ;)

3 Foot Clearance is a Pike. Why? Because Buckethead says so. ;)

Electric Sea came in an eco-wallet. Pikes come in cd jackets.

Someone told me that Bootsy said that Buckethead was having some physical problems again...but that might not be true. If it is, i hope he gets better fast, and I really hope future shows arent cancelled! :'(
Nope! Bootsy actually said that Bucket is feeling better and loves his Bucketbots.

The CD has just arrived. Amazing. I like it very much.

I wonder which two original pieces of J. S. Bach Buckethead has adapted.

La Gavotte is clear. Not Bachethead for me.
La Gavotte and Bachethead are both versions of Gavottes 1-2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECoJ67LWjyg

A few of the other songs sound like him. Boom even has a killswitch. But I've only seen him get credit for ready to die. Maybe just because it's his only writing credit.

My disc one is yellow, disc two is blue, and disc three is white. I ordered a year after it came out so I figured that the colors changed by then. The songs seem to match.

I only discovered Buckethead late last year so I only have some of the easier to find CDs (Colma, Tears, Giant Robot etc.) so I'd love to get my hands on any of the OOP CDs: PG, SBTS, CSS and DTTOTB especially
DTTOB is still available here: http://travisdickersonmusic.com/shop/#ecwid:category=813535&mode=category&offset=0&sort=normal

Update: DCK may be OOP too. :'(
I just bought one on the 5th. Perhaps I got the last one. I now feel a sudden urgency to buy everything from TDRS that I don't own.

QuoteSo many OOPs. Looks like everything is becoming OOP. This probably explains why Buckethead only sold Pikes at his 2011 tour.

dont understand.
Quantity is so low that there may not be enough to sell at shows.

Whoa, we must have not been to the same site, since I\'ve never seen any of these on sale here lol
I don\'t know what site I was on, but it had the old layout, which was used up until CEV or HH, I think. I miss that layout. Easier to see all the albums.

PG (1 left that isn\'t insanely priced!): http://product.half.ebay.com/Peppers-Ghost-by-Buckethead-CD-Oct-2007-CBUJ-Distribution/62934399&tg=info

Funnel Weaver can be found for a reasonable price on amazon.

Checked twince and I didn\'t see it :( (assuming you\'re talking about CSS)
What?! When I posted that, that site had the old store layout, which included CSS. It looked like it was updated because it said "temp out" on Bucketheadland 2, PO, SbtS, etc.
