Political and Social Discussions / no love for obama?
January 06, 2008, 12:45:22 pm
When whitewolf said that democracy is no good for tribal people and nobody challenged him on that i had a feeling this board was infested with closet racists. But now its been 4 days since the first black man won the iowa caucusses and the silence is quite puzzling. I mean after all you liberals are the ones constantly making the claim that you champion the cause and the plight of black people held under thumb of us racist rich WHITE republicans. I thought for sure this board would be alive with posts reveling in this historic event.

cant say that im surprised by the silence of the hate bush crowd that infests this board. old folkie how do you feel about this, disappointed it wasnt bush doing it so you could feel validated? after all you are the one who is so worried about civil liberties and what not and in your little demented world im sure you can come up with a valid reason why this is ok and bush continues to be the biggest oppressor in the world...im eagerly awaiting your response.

When I started posting on this board it was right after the hurricane Katrina debacle. What got me irate was the post calling attention to Viggo\'s website where he pretty much blamed every elected Republican for lack of compassion. Since the hurricane that rolled through NOLA there have been ice storms all across the midwest, and today in FL a tornado ripped through several communities. Wheres Viggo? C\'mon man I loved ya in "A History of Violence" but where is your compassion for all the white farmers in MT, and the white citizens of FL who have lost everything? Your silence speaks volumes. Great artist....partisan hack.

"The first is that you aren\'t the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah\'s vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.

are any of you who voted democrat the least bit embarrased?

Political and Social Discussions / Merry Christmas!
December 06, 2006, 04:53:55 am
"Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2006, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher."

Political and Social Discussions / im confused
June 22, 2005, 12:29:49 pm
Political and Social Discussions my ass. This is all left wing kookery. First of all let me say that I am a conservative, which more often than not prompts me to vote republican. Second I am also a long haired, pot smoking, athiest. All I have seen on this board is christian bashing and conspiracy theories run amok. When are you lefties gonna quit complaining and start coming up with REASONABLE solutions to problems. I know that most of you are gonna think im here flaming or inciting you but this post is just to inform you of how more than half (yes its been polled that most people in this country consider themselves conservative) of the population views you. Sure im not a big fan of the Patriot Act, or religious zealots, or any of the other things you Libs moan and bitch about on a daily basis but damn i dont let it effect my life so much that i become bitter.

A long time ago on "another board" i suggested to the site admin that a registry for owners of NTT would be cool. Basically to get an idea of just how many copies were pressed. For whatever reasons that never happened so I am reviving my idea here. Maybe with your relationship to the artist you could get that info. If that is the case then a registry would be a moot point but if not does this sound like a good idea to you perhaps?
