Quote^^^^ that is a good performance of "scraps" but I think the secret recipie dvd version is the best by far.

I\'ll have to excavate that DVD and compare.  I was fortunate enough to win an original pressing from this very site courtesy of,  Sir Travis!

I just can\'t recall where that song is on the DVD at the moment.

Gives me reason to push the toys and gaming systems aside and delve back into Bucketheadland.

Sorry, I\'ve somewhat hijacked this incredible thread from being a "Wetlands" thread to cool youtube gems ....

Without further ado....Buckethead from my personal favorite epoch of time performing from the elusive "Giant Robot NTT" album, Scraps!!!  Enjoy, bots.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3VA3j3avLc&feature=related

Yes, the Deli Creeps absolutely rule!

My favorite Maximum Bob part is the 40-45 second mark from Dream Girl.  That is Maximum Bob personified in 5 seconds to me.

Anyhow, yes, more Creeps would be amazing.  Officially aboard the more Deli Creeps wagon.

Hmmm.....a few gigs?  Sounds like it could be a great opportunity to make a Thanatopsis DVD. ;D

Travis has yet to let down.

Yes, Thanks for posting a very cool review.

The thing that stuck out most with me from these two DVD\'s is the sound check.  This is the first time that I have seen Buckethead totally out of character.  He is just chilling off to the side with his foot holding his weight on the adjacent wall.  Busting out serious, random sonic shards, only with affirmation from, Jas "I am not getting your face."  His posture is totally upright and his playing is all business for the sound checking process.

These DVD\'s were a nostalgic journey back to why I fell in love with Buckethead\'s playing in the first place.

Run, don\'t skip, jog or shuffle your way to a site that sells these DVD\'s.

Ha-Ha, Geranyl.

Buckethead as a male pattern baldness sporting geriatric.   I guess anything is possible.

Buckethead\'s checklist before a gig:  Bucket, yep.  Mask, yup. Raincoat, check.  Nunchuckas, yup.   Toupee, Duhhh!

Secret Recipe kinda chronicles his hair over the years.  Seems to me that it gets a little longer every year.  A wig seems like a bizarre subterfuge to me.

Hey, Casey.

I own like 60 discs with Buckethead on and, I too, had to download this one.  I didn\'t feel too bad about it, as I lost a bid years back at 200+ dollars, used.

Someone posted the www.buckethead.tk site already to download.  I downloaded it from somewhere else but can\'t remember where.  Otherwise, there are cool fans at Buckethead\'s site that are always happy to B&P it for you.  I think Buckethead is totally cool with fans downloading this one, being that it probably can\'t be re-released with all the samples on it.  I am not sure, though.

I think it\'s a shame that this is Buckethead\'s defining work to me and is so hard to get a hold of.

I say, do whatever you have to, to get it, cause it is cool.  You will recognize a lot of the stuff from hearing it played on other albums.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.  The local radio station played a song from the new GNR disc and I didn\'t think any of the playing sounded Bucket-esque.
I didn\'t care for the song at all, either.  I wish I could remember the name of the song.

I think I remember reading that part of the 84th album delay was Axl having to re-record Buckethead\'s guitar playing after Bucket departed.  I would venture to guess that Axl had his(Buckethead\'s) playing replaced for royalty reasons alone, though I don\'t know squat about the music industry, I am just a machinist.  Either way, I feel Guns new one will flop.(In Axl\'s eyes, anyhow)

I do agree, however, replacing Buckethead is an oxymoron sort of statement.

In short, I would be very surprised to hear ANY Buckethead on the new CD.  It will save me $13.99 if Buckethead isn\'t on the disc.
